Some machines only sew when the sewing light is on . So turn that on and try again . I don't have this machine anymore so I can't go look at it to tell you for sure .

I just received this machine, I am having issues with the bobbin, it keeps getting caught in the machine..it won’t thread because of this. When I pull the material out I then have to take extra thread from the bottom. What am I doing wrong?

Strange as this sounds thats probablyy the top thread tension thats too loose ending up underneath . Turn top tension up to number 3 and try to match bottom tension to that so it meets in the middle of your material .

Dear Sir, I recently acquired this particular machine and have found that it will not move the fabric using the foot pedal alone. I must use the side hand-knob to get the fabric to move, and then it takes off fine with the foot pedal. Question: do you think this might be a belt issue, or do you have another suggestion? Your response is greatly appreciated.

I am having trouble envisioning what is going on . Sounds like the belt is to loose . Adjust your motor belt little tighter .

Hi John, I am looking to buy my first machine and found one of these for a great price online. Do you recommend this machine? Or something else to start out… I want to make basic clothing and swimwear. And really would like to have a vintage machine

I have an issue with the NECCHI 575FA. The issue is I cant get the material to feed. What am I missing?

Try adjusting your pressure foot to its maximum down pressure . If that doesn't do it you'll need to raise your feed dogs from underneath the machine .

I just bought a old 574fb and it wasn't in a case and it goes extremely fast is this normal

Yes , assuming you can also run it slower with less pedal pressure . If its hard to start sewing slowly , its always too fast starting out , then you'll will need to resurface the armature where the motor brushes contact the armature . Sometimes the motor brushes accidentally get oiled causing them to arc and burn the surface of the armature .

From Underneath . Id have to look at it again to ring a bell . I sold this along time ago . You should try to download a Service manual online . Most the time they are free .

I recently got a Necchi and can’t seem to get far. I’m having problems with the thread which continues coming out of the needle. Can I take it to any sewing machine repair shop?

Sounds like you don't have enough top thread tension dialed in . And yes , any Sewing Machine Shop can give it a COA : Clean , oil and adjust .
