A groundhog dug up some bottles on my property and lead me to one of the most amazing trash pits I've ever excavated! There's hundreds of intact bottles and other various surprises, which I'll leave for the video. :)

Hi, JD. Looks like you are enjoying what many others would like to be doing on this glorious holiday, with skies so blue and sun on your face, on another digging adventure. Nice lamp you found for your display. Though there aren't any finds of monetary value, they will be historically valuable at least. FYI The green Canada Dry and lemon juice bottles are great for rooting plants, set them in a sunny window. Looks nice and green is the most soothing color to the human eye. The honey bees were after the yellow, flower colored margarine tubs. Wonder if there are older relics in the opposite direction on the side of the hill? Til next time, May God Our Father Bless You with Many More Days such as this, Brother.

I (happily) had forgotten that TV dinners used to come in divided tin trays that cooked in the _oven_ . We've come a looong way, baby! I'm sittin' here sayin', "Joy dishwashing liquid, Planter's peanuts jar, Smucker's jam jar, 7-Up bottle...etc" This is fun! Crisco oil...LOL! I'll say one thing, these were not poor folk. They had all the name brand stuff. I think the "generic" bottles were apple cider vinegar. Those little tins were _vy-ennys_ (know to the rest of the world as Vienna Sausages). I have no idea what the tiny spray cans were. Blue plastic was Downey. The little triangular glass bottle was nail polish remover. Blue flowers is on a Blue Bonnet margarine tub. WHEW! That was a nice long video for our Christmas afternoon. Thanks, JD. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas JD. The little tin cans are Vienna Sausage cans, they still make those today. Surprised they held up so well. The blue plastic bottle with the white cap is Downy Fabric Softener. Some of the small round jars are old mustard jars. Keep the videos coming, love your channel.

Yes it is crazy but we find full light bulbs and complete tv tubes all the time. So far looks like lots of Karo syrup, coffee & tea jars. The liquid you are finding inside the bottles and jars is Ground water. Go to the hardware and get a 3 tine rake and a small hand rake digger, it will help you alot. Blue plastic is fabric softener. Kraft mayonnaise. I am surprised no marbles yet. You are approaching the 50s when they threw out marbles. The broken green bowl is called Jadite. Huge depression or cut glass bowl. Still watching JD.

The plain bottles look like ketchup, mustard, syrup and vinegar or pickle. The Kraft was most likely mayonnaise. Amber bottles may have been for bleach or other cleaning type detergents. The blue plastic was probably a fabric softener. And back in the day when these style of soda bottles were around we drank quarts, not liters. Now the lamps are nice. Especially if you get them working!

The small aluminum 'pots/small cans.' The tall one looked like vienna sausage pot and the short small one looked like Hormel Deviled ham. 13.07 If you have an Ivory dish soap bottle, then this one is probably Joy Lemon scent dish washing soap. 14:06 Definitely a Salad Dressing bottle, as others have said, probably Wish Bone brand. 16:27 looks like a cleaner bottle: Lysol or Pine Sol. 20:20 That could be pickles or saurkraut. 21:22 The little plastic bottle was Prell shampoo. The White Glass short jar with a lid, is Ponds Cold Cream. 22:03 Grey Poupon, maybe. 30:30 Taster's Choice Coffee jar. 49:13 Looks like an early Sunny D bottle. 51:00 Kraft Mayonaise 54:52 The Pie Tins the small one is a [Swanson] Pot Pie. The large one could be a JiffyPop popcorn. 58:10 The little Triangle Bottle is definitely mouthwash. 1:00:01 The world's largest pull tab is from a very small canned ARMOUR Ham. What a fun day with Urban Archeology. I agree with some folks, you have materials from the 80's, but I do think this could stretch back to the 60's.
