Very cool I have an old Harmony hollowbody gifted to me from my hippy uncle who live in height and ashbury and was part of the hippy scene. Knew the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. Reminds me of yours. Anyone these things have some great natural sustain and resonance to me. Following along!

That's fantastic. If guitars could tell stories. Fun to think that maybe Jorma played your guitar!

very cool stuff. looks like it will be a fabulous guitar. there's something about playing a guitar you've worked on yourself. I've done lots of work on solid body electrics, but am just starting to learn how to work on acoustics - things like bridge removal and replacement. wish I had all the proper tools.... one step at a time. the first guitar I ever played and learned on (mid-'60s) was a Stella. it was a beast. now I realize it needed lighter strings, and probably needed the truss rod adjusted. live and learn.

Thanks, yes so rewarding, can't wait to play it. I'm definitely in love with working on acoustics and love the idea of resurrecting these oldies. Cheers!

Wow this has been an oddesey, and am appreciating your attention to detail. What attracted you too this model, this one in particular? I’m new to acoustic guitars and besides the vibe of the appearance which I love too, what else does this one offer.

Thanks! I like jumbo guitars. This model is like a mini jumbo, so easier to get arms around and has a shape that appeals to me. I also like the vintage aspect of old solid woods that are not super fancy, probably sourced in the USA. With the re-bracing I did there was plenty of room on the soundboard to play with, and, I don't mind a V-neck profile. Overall, the potential dry tone of aged tonewoods, USA sourced ("local" to me), humble construction and a body style I love makes it very appealing, cheers!
