What of if it's 10111,1101,111 how do I go about it

Here's an alternate way to approach this problem. 2^4 2^3 2^2 2^1 2^0 1 1 0 1 1 = 2^4+2^3+0+2^1+2^0 = 16+8+0+2+1 = 27 11011 (in Binary) is equivalent to 27. 2^4 2^3 2^2 2^1 2^0 1 1 1 1 0 = 2^4+2^3+2^2+2^1+0 = 16+8+4+2+0 = 30 11110 (in Binary) is equivalent to 30. In the Base 10 World, we would have 27 + 30 = 57. Now, we can convert 57 to Binary. 2^5 2^4 2^3 2^2 2^1 2^0 1 1 1 0 0 1 = 57 = 32+16+8+1 = 2^5+2^4+2^3+2^0 Hence, in Binary, 57 is equivalent to 111001, which is the final answer to this problem.

I have a complete guide on the whole topic, but for the question I solved this is not the right approach as it takes more time and space. But it's preferable when the bases are different.
