NECRØ - Harvest

We started writing Harvest as an instrumental interlude, and little by little, it evolved into the form it has today. Normally, we aim for these interludes to serve as bridges between lyrical themes or sonic atmospheres, but in this case, after recording the vocals in our rehearsal room, we felt it established the perfect tone for the beginning of Into Oblivion.
It’s a dark and contemplative track and the composition of the instrumental was created while observing a montage of photographs by Alexander Gardner taken shortly after the Battle of Gettysburg, and before the battlefield had been completely cleared of the dead.
Harvest is part of Into Oblivion, our first LP, released by Cold Transmission Music, and it is available in several limited editions: LP, Digipack, and Cassette.
