Terraria, But Slimes Drop RANDOM Items...

In this video I try beating Terraria but here's the twist... Slimes and only slimes drop random items but to make things a bit more interesting I can only use the items dropped by them. This includes weapons, armor, accessories, and tools. Will I be able to get decent enough gear to be able to take on the final boss Moon Lord or will I end up getting useless items. This would be a challange if the random drops were locked to the progression so you can't get items from bosses and events you haven't cleared yet (naturally it means no hardmode ores tools/weapons too

see im not trying to shit on these challenges, but every time i watch "random drops" challenges it goes like this around the 7-10minute mark they get a moonlord weapon and the challenge is obviously over at this point.

FYI the Terrarian's best modifier is LEGENDARY not GODLY. It's the only Yoyo in the game that can have the Legendary modifier and benefits from a unique set of buffs from it.

FYI, yoyos benefit more with the ruthless modifier. Since they don't have much knockback to begin with, you get more dmg overall.

Just a tip: the ore excavator mod let's you place a lot of platforms at once in a line and the same with rope but vertical, this is just for convenience

I feel this would've been more interesting if you limited yourself to not spawn King Slime(although Slime rain event is fair game) and not use the treasure bags, because the challenge kinda lost itself after that.

I tried using a slime statue with a "slimes drop random items" mod but it didn't work. Also I'd had a version which was configured to sometimes spawn random NPCs and it made a works unusable by spawning the nebula pillar before if fought any boss

You should play terraria with x300 spawn rates and see how absolutely absurd it gets to do anything. It’ll make you think differently in terms of how to go about starting the game and stuff because at the beginning the slimes would be the most annoying part of the game.
