with your comment on fomo I totally agree. genshin feeds off of fomo. however thats on the player to decide if they give in to that. players need to just know when to let go. which I must admit is hard and was hard for me to do, but I have found once that fomo was removed for me, I actually enjoy genshin more because there is alot of events! I must admit however, there are things like exclusive completely limited weapons etc that should probably be made available after their first time, even if its a bunch of star glitter and they are rotated monthly or something.

Nahida is absolutely ridiculous. Hands down one of the best and most useful units in the game. Dendro is fantastic with almost any combination and Nahida has BY FAAAAAR the best Dendro application in the game, both in terms or range, duration and CDs. The fact that it interconnects between enemies makes it even more ridiculous. Shes no just "the best dendro sub", she orders of magnitude better than the second best. Nahida alone almost trippled my damage when I got her. Her ability to pick up materials from a distance is also a really nice quality of life beneft. I strongly advice you to roll for her if you have to gems. And of course, shes god damn adorable.

the trial characters are fun. Are they optimally build? no probably not, but some of them like Yelan, Nahida or Nilou just allow you to play compositions you can't without them. It's fun to try new things, especially for someone like me, who only pulls on characters they want while actually saving for Dainsleif, so my character pool is limited. Getting the opportunity to try these characters has great value to me

If he intends to quit free to play at some point really he should get the welkin moon pass sooner rather than later, by far the best value. 3000 gems for 5$. The next best rate is getting 100$ with top up bonus, and thats still only 630 gems pr 5$, it really is night and day. It only really feels predatory once you begin to buy the one time purchases from the store as their rates are really bad.

Technically hes still not up to date since he has to finish scaramouche story quest and plus many story quests and also the 3.5 archon quest

Altho Lore events are cool, they r flawed in the fact that they are time gated, if u didnt play the event ull never get to experience it again, it happened to me with the "Scaramouche event" the one when they introduce him for the 1st time, so i never understood where the traveler knew this chara from till i watched it on a video later on.

Actually if you havent done the first event the traveler will not recognize scaramouche in inazuma
