They let you "win your luck", you thought you had it, and next moment you loss double the amount you won. Pity banner is the hook, not the safe nest. Gacha and lootbox are passable, cause they don't have "reinvestment ability" like real money, you spend $ for digital purchase, to satisfy your self. Be a responsible adult and spend at your own risk, is the usual saying for any gambling.

The gacha in this game is very brutal. Somehow fgo is simultaneously super f2p friendly and hostile at the same time

I think Necrit didn't understand. Guaranteed is not only for the one event character. If you lose 50/50, you get next legendary event character. For example. If you losed 50/50 on Baizhu, wait for next banners (Fireworks girl and Yae Miko), pull for Yae Miko, it will be guaranteed Yae Miko, there would be NO 50/50, it's guaranteed. So, it's not a whale mechanic. And the same system works here. I lose my 50/50 for general and get Bailu. So now I store jades for Silver Wolf, bacause I will get her guaranteed

Bad luck in HSR is real 😂. But spending money for jingyuan is worth it like seriously i finish all world 3&4 lvl 2 difficulty easy and waitng to reach traiblaze 4 so i can fight 5&6 lvl 2 too. My first team without jingyuan is MC preservation,welt,pela and natasha and i cleared 1- 6 tho. But with jingyuan is really amazing 😍. P.s: i did not get seele so my guaranteed goes to jingyuan and im F2p btw

How the heck did an F2P genshin player who spent 700 hours didn't know how the gacha system works, lol. Like, if you're a whale then that makes sense cus you will get the character no matter what, so why bother learning the system. If you're F2P, managing primos to get the characters that you actually want should make you learn how the system works to have better chances. (I'm not against him or forcing him to read btw, I love this dude. I'm just curious how he can survive genshin without beating their tricks to not make us swipes).
