I personally don't like her new lore. Her old lore made a better job in giving her ''The Dark Sovereign'' feel. When you add all the trauma, and make her powers be controlled by emotions, it kinda makes her a lesser mage to me... Old Syndra lore portraited her as a ultra-powerfull mage, who would only grow stronger and stronger. I dont like that they added pain, insecurity, trauma, rage these are not traits a mage known and feared as The Dark Sovereign should have.....she was supposed to be waay above all these things, and just be simply powerfull. Humanising her made she feel a little weaker imo. Old lore made her feel like an omnipotent mage

The real problem is that full stories are aimed at people who are hugely into the Lore. But those people already read it, so they don't watch these videos at all. That's why the big stories always had 50% less views. It's better if I use my vids as a hook to get new people interested.

Syndra is powerful, there is no doubt about that but Xerath is on another level. He is one of the few beings who could go toe to toe with someone wielding a world rune. His is pure arcane energy, sadly Syndra is just a human, a powerful one but she does have limits.

I bet the next thing I will see as part of Syndra's Story would be some random fella from nowhere who would meet her, tolerate the nature of her powers, and help control and strengthen her powers. I did notice that Ionians did have a thing for feeling remorse, empathy, difference, and a sense of justice just like Ahri's empathy for the victims whose life essence and memories she steals, Akali with her sense of breaking away old traditions, Irelia with her sense of duty to always protect Ionia, Lee Sin with his new reslove and enlightenment after gaining power of Dragon Rage, and Yasuo with his sense of vengeance (that he has abandoned to fulfill after knowing the truth) and self-retribution. I wouldn't be surprised if there would be a time that even Syndra herself would want to understand her powers more.
