No one in piltover and zaun actually "know" about the brakern souls. They saw the crystals and were like "I bet I could make some cool tech out of this". These "artificial" hextech crystals don't have brakern souls and with people guessing how the crystals work, we can only imagine how wrong that could go. I.e. body horror experiments such as urgot, Warwick, and Mundo.

No. The legit hex crystals are soul shards. Chem tech creates artificial soul shards. Unless the Brackern can transfer between shards or are born into a shard at birth, i wouldn't expect the artificial crystals to contain a Brackern soul, or to "sing".

Piltover + desert. Yes, Ezreal was there too in Shurima with Kai'sa. There was that purple gem in there. Purple gem? purple smoke? The cinematic did show voidlings Jinx insane? The gem could be connected to the void afterall, driving jinx insane. It's also said none escape the void alive, however with have Kai'sa, Kassadin and Malzahar. What if those mutated humans turned into creatures similar to Cho'Gath, Vel'Koz etc etc That's a crazy ass connection to Arcane.
