People who dont read lore are soo unsufferable , It was literally never mentioned that natlan is some kind barren wasteland with no life , but it was mentioned many times how its actually a really good tourist spot with healing hot springs , people there like to show off their colorful costumes and they do love wall graffiti s . Maybe people should let natlan come out and then criticize it , what did we know when fontaine was coming out ? that its a water nation and that its most technologically advenced nation but none of these things played important part in the story , but what did ? The prophecy that wasnt mentioned until fontaine ( livestream ) came out . Maybe we should at least let trailers come out before jumping to the conclusion that this nation of war that was never said to be a barren wasteland will be shit just because it isnt a barren wasteland

Wow so tilted, classic genshin player. When for 4 hole years the Nation of Fire and it's archon is the God of War are not even related or tied to that concept (at least in design)... is normal that people are a bit dissappointed, but as u said, it can go deeper with the patches same as Fontaine. But I mean, they literally transform a brutal war tribe into a sport tournament, even the archon is in a motorbike suit. Also, a place can be in a crisis and also a tourist place to visit, keep that in mind Edit: also, u are a bit wrong about "we only know Fontaine is the land of water", literally since the beginning, even in the teaser, justice was the main plot til the very end. Sumeru and Inazuma were not that great in that regard, they washed the concept and take it to other meaning, probably will be the same with Natlan

nah, Varka is not in Natlan. beside, there is a very logical reason why Capitano wear a mask... he is a vishap. as a dragonkind it would make sense for him to be "as strong as a god", and the only thing vishap can't hide, is their eyes... and we already seen vishap that wear mask to hide that fact in the game... if he really is a vishap, i can see him being playable while still wearing the mask...
