Necro is extremely underrated by regular listeners and even a lot of hip-hop heads. Lots of OG emcees fuck with him. Dude is a super nice producer, made his own genre of rap, can flow and write really well (horror core/death rap etc) . Dude plays guitar + keys and bass I think but I could be wrong. He went straight Independent at a time in the 90's when everyone was only looking at being signed. He got his name out by getting on whatever radio station would let him on and dropping endless bars. Definitely earned it, most people didn't fuck with horrorcore shit at all back then either.

His fave rapper is Kool G Rapp. He was also the first person ever to do an album with Kool G Rapp and it was extremely good. The only other person to do an album with KGR was his son (38 Spesh) .

Spot on man, he is a true og! His rare demos and freestyle vol 1-3 just proves it, freestyles on the radio in 1991 introducing people to death rap, begging for them to be signed...2022 necro and ill bill both have their own labels, necro is still doing what he loves no change no selling out and certainly no mainstream but there really isn't many people who doesn't know of him! One of if not the hardest working artist out there been on his hustle before I was born, 32 this year. True legend, solute! Also he truly deserves to be up there with the best recondition wise and wealth!!

First time I heard of Necro was in the late 90s or maybe early 2000. I think I saw an ad for I Need Drugs in a metal magazine. Ordered that album via mail order and the rest is history. I have every CD this dude has put out, including the Street Villains mixtapes and the Circle of Tyrants album he did with Goretex, Ill Bill and Hyde. You need to listen to South of Heaven and The Black Wings of Apocalypse if you haven’t.
