Gotta love the wraith! MV 6 Block, Sidestep, Foul Appear. Enforcers, surfers, somebodies got to do it. :)

Nice to see you making videos again, good effort. I agree with trying to maximize on positionals early on and your assessment of necro being brutal early on is definitely true. And tbh since they cost so much and aren't *really* that special, they're rarely going to be tier1 in perpetual environments. I wouldn't play them if I wanted to win unless you can find some value elsewhere like NAF (they are really good this year in Eurobowl). Call me a madman but I like randoming general skills on werewolves and especially ghouls (and zombies). You've basically 1/3 odds to hit block or wrestle and some other utility skill with first two attempts. Most werewolves wouldn't mind having pro, tackle and dauntless for example. And with ghoul you'll enjoy sure hands and dp quite a bit too, so you could maybe even stop after one skill and build your player from there. I've not tested it on wolves yet but it might not be such a bad alternative to just going block first. That said I've mostly played FUMBBL blackbox/RRR and some leagues with redraft, so maybe it's not that useful for BB3 ladder. Although there is a TV cap... For Eurobowl I've had success with the default roster skilling all 8 positionals and having 3rr, but only 11 players. But I think if you maximize the value value on the pitch rather than take some bench, you should be fine. Most of the good players are kinda hard to remove anyway. That said this experience is only in Finnish tournament scene and I haven't had time to test them out properly online yet. Thank you sir for covering my favorite team of Blood Bowl and sharing your thoughts to the community. :)

I just played Necro at the Danish Open (3-0-3 I am an average bb player), I think if you are lucky enough to get a AGI boost then you have to take mv so you can one turn, I also think AGI and str is better spread out between the two wolves, finally, Andys one mighty one jugganout wolf is a good fall backiof you don't hit the stats I think Necro with only 2 rerolls are very rough, also I think mighty blow is better on the wraiths than the golems, because in my experience the golems often just tags out a big guy or 2-3 line men so he actually don't get as many good blocks as the wraiths that you usually stick close to the enemy cage hoping to sidestep them to good places On paper a dodge wraith seems good so you can play them like elven union, but you could in theory also do this with wolves. My initial plan was to score two goals in game 1 and then random str skills, I got brawler first time and gave up on that plan after my second try, but if you are very patient then that is obviously the correct move.

I think the mindset for ghoul-less necro in BB2 was to get some skills on the wolves and the wights and if any of them rolled AG up you didn't need the ghouls as much obviously no longer the case in BB3 but without the MVP rules from tabletop these wraiths are probably unlikely to get more than guard

Like this and look forward to the run and thinking process. Is MV+ on werewolf not worth it?

Move is great on +AG wolves. Without it not so much.

I love the wraith, my local tt league said my necro terrorised them, and part of that was the foul appearance ss guard wraiths. I had a str 4 ag 4 wolf in bb2 and got like a 15 win streak. Then it died to a rerolled gfi and I never won another match with that team. I defo think Juggernaut is a consideration on a wolf for surfing and more consistent blocks.
@JimmyFantastic4 ай бұрын
Yeah juggernaut and mighty blow are both options, as is the third reroll. The problem is the tv cap and whether they are worth the tv.

Hello thanks for this guide, can I ask if starting without golem but all other positionals and 3 rr is a bad idea ?
@JimmyFantastic4 ай бұрын
I could have mentioned that actually. I got top rated necromantic coach on fumbbl by not using flesh golems. I just figured most people would want them because they are good. But yeah min-maxing tv very much an option.
@JanCRefsgaard3 ай бұрын
We the wolfs are better than the golems and become very good after two matches, the golems take forever to get good, so you often start with them as a long term investment, the "full agi" rooster is probably the one that wins the most out of the gate, in theory you could take the golems later and then feed them touch downs
@sokudohi3 ай бұрын
@@JanCRefsgaard yeah after this comment I start season without golem with 2 defeats. So I create a new team with golems this time that have a 4-2-0. Full positional look cool but having 2 golem is easier, one wolf to blitz is ok the second is a really nice bonus later. I think I will recommend 2 golem start now
@JanCRefsgaard3 ай бұрын
@@sokudohi interesting, i would have assumed that full agi was better, maybe its only better if you are good at elfing since you have no strength :), or maybe I am wrong :)
