The terrain set as a whole is now just fantastic. The murkiness of the overall set really adds up to a great look once they're all together. I think this is the point where the whole tipped over into being briliant; having effectively a complete setup is always going to be a step up. But the best part is that anything that gets added from this point on is just going to add quality. More variety, scope for bigger games, specific pieces for specific scenarios- every piece after now just racks up more positives. It's a great accomplishment!

I can’t get enough of that Sump Wall! I thought for a second I clicked onto one of those Sci-fi ambient sewer/underhivr soundtracks I use for tabletop!

Its a really nice piece, sometimes you just have to take a step back and look at something from a different angle. Really like how this came together, your wall is what brought me to the channel a couple of weeks ago. Always wanted to try necromunda, the boards people make have always interested me!

Absolutely! I'm glad that I was able to NOT just let it sit in the corner during that funk too. Thanks for joining J and I on our journey!

My goodness yes! And thank you for all of the amazing work and even more amazing effort that you put into all of your community content! I am simply trying to follow your lead already. I am sorry that I'm not getting links to you on my videos more, but that is simply due to my ineptness at computer issues. I will fix that when I get home tonight! Thanks for tuning in and for all of the great work that you do!:)

Love THE WALL diorama piece! Reminds me of some of the pieces my friends and I put together at Uni. Nothing anywhere near that grand in scale though! Fun stuff! Do you ever do any epoxy style water features? Closest I ever did was glue stick texturing with a liquid floor polish finish. Have my eye on a boat kit that I’d like to kitbash with some tank tracks for a scavey amphibious assault vehicle!

Thank you very much! I have done epoxy resin pours but not for this board because we play on it so much and the moving of the thing would chip the pour too much.

no problem. I did a pour on the Slopper video onto some really old foam there but have not designed anything to date for a historic pour yet....... but it is a new year after all...... :)

Contrast isn't soft. It just goes on very thin (a few microns). Once you varnish, it'll be as strong as any other paint.

Thanks for the comment and I was referring to the strength of it after applying oils over it. And yes it will be as strong as the varnish coat. Some critiques to the oil paint usage is that the thinner acrylic medium paints will breakdown during the removal of the oil layers. This isn't true which is what I was trying (albeit poorly) to say.:)

@@jdinthesumpsea1560 ah. I see. Contrast can run off when removing an oil wash, but I've never lost so much that it made a difference.

Unfortunately I have in the past and I wanted to point it out just so I could get this kind of feedback. I have never had a problem with any style of that paint or inks straight out of the pot, but have had some issues when using it through an airbrush which requires thinning sometimes due to the effect you are trying to do with the color. Not to mention how old the batch of paint is when you actually apply it on the model. (which in my case, is not very fresh to say the least!) Needless to say, I think that applications of that kind of paint and inks vary widely and (in my case) change completely when thinning down or firing through an airbrush. This is do to many different factors OTHER than just the paint manufacturer. So I showed it in a video format mainly because I am a poor linguist.:) Thanks again for the response! And always fire them off anytime! I love talking about any of this stuff!

Do the barriers still come off the upper bridge, or are they glued in place? If it's the former I could see that bridge bizarre idea working by having the stalls clip on like a barrier, and then have diagonal cables or posts with hooks on the end to attach to the barriers on the other side. Obviously you would need to have some shops on one side and some (or one big one) on the other for balance.

they still will come off yes.... That's another great idea! There are other projects in the mix but that would be a great concept! Thanks you!
