Just discovered the channel. So nice to have more necromunda content on here and extra nice that it's tips, and tricks and not just lore or let's play. Loving this , thank you.

wayner396 Great! I have loads more to cover so stay tuned! Let me know if you would like anything specific covered. I'm no expert but when you are the only guy doing it then I guess it's the best around! 😂

Hey there, great video as usual. I just wanted to have a bit of discussion and point out a few things that may need looked at in your video. First the Agitator has another difference from the propogandist, if you use outlaw rules it is an outlaw hanger on. This is something that the NCR does not catch. I'd also not recommend using the NCR right now as there are a lot of errors that need fixed and the current one makes it difficult to tell house rule from actual rule. Next when you go over the reputation charts this is kind of narrowly focused so a bit misleading. In an Uprising campaign these numbers work, but then unless you play a variant you can never hire a hanger on because the end game phase where you do this is missing with the trading post. In Law and Misrule there are so many different ways to gain reputation getting 20 to 30 isn't that difficult. And for a Dominion campaign there are no set number of games, it is as many as you can get in during the 7 week period, which means potentially a lot of reputation gain and loss, also the enforcers have special rules here which allow them to skyrocket into the lead early on here. Ragnar gets the munitioneer skill in the 2019 Necromunda FAQ, another thing not added into the NCR yet.

Thanks for the input and yes I agree that just as one piece of gear is rubbish for one gang but gold to another these guys can be great in one campaign and useless in another!? All I can do is give you my opinion from my experience and that unfortunately doesn't cover all the campaigns or add-on rules. 😁 Hopefully it can still help you decide what you want to take based on your campaign situation!

I find the I use the Ammo jack and rouge Doc most often my self. Dome Runner takes about 4- 20 just to pay for its self. Runners also generate an extra 10 credits per game with a specific territory in a Dominion campaign, but that’s hardly enough to justify them. Even though I have a painted module that came with my Ammo Jack. (I think that is why they are packeged togeather as the only way they will sell with out a rules edit.)

Question: where did ya get the wooden tower structures and the ganways from the intro? I would love to get my self some cool terrain.
@StaticElf3 жыл бұрын
That terrain is from DeathRayDesigns.com and I highly recommend all of their pieces! Got these at Adepticon in 2019 (Hope they renew Adepticon in 2022!)

Listening to this, you seem really focused on the gear and stats of the hangers-on, and between that and the way you're praising the ammo jack and heretek for having the (admittedly very good) Munitioneer skill I wonder if you may not be playing hangers-on correctly. Unlike Brutes, you can't voluntarily use any of these guys as part of your crew on the tabletop. They aren't fighters, and the only way they see the tabletop is when you're on defense in a scenario that gives you the Home Turf advantage, which isn't all that common. Even then you roll a 50% chance to see if each individual hanger-on was caught in your turf when the scenario starts and have to be included in your crew. And if they do participate in a fight and take an injury that permanently lowers a stat, they leave for good and you're out what you spent on them, so getting them caught in a shoot-out is risky on top of being unreliable as all get-out. Jacks and (for outlaws) hereteks are still very good, but their stats and gear and skills are going to come up rarely enough that it's not going matter much - and on the flip side, the crappy gear and stats on some other hangers-on is less of a drawback, it's the special benefits they grant you that are going to be important the majority of the time.

Wasn't there also a Halfling Slopper?
@StaticElf4 жыл бұрын
The halfling slopper mini may come with rules from Forgeworld but I have not seen them.

Ah yes he does have extra rules! I will cover him quick in the next vid

@@StaticElf I checked the NCR for missing rules: -Chem Dealer -Pit Trainer -Ratling Slober You could check the Necromunda Discord

Some of those are Goliath exclusive so we will cover them when we do the Goliath Review

I've been enjoying your videos but I fear your ratings are both using old rules and not taking all their abilities into full context. Like some running have a strategic benefit to collapsed dome territories in a dominion campaign. But I still agree, better options. But great work, your channel has speed up my own production of getting more necromunda content out there on KZbin its seriously under served right now
@StaticElf4 жыл бұрын
Yes unfortunately I can’t talk about every possible campaign/scenario situation or how it would affect each gang individually as that would take hours to cover all the myriad situations. I try to give you the Dark Uprising rulebook version of the rules as that is the most current version of the rules that has been produced officially and we will cover individual gang and campaign situations in specific gang review and campaign tip videos. So rules in the House of Chains will be covered when I review Goliaths as not everyone uses that book in their campaigns yet especially if they don’t play Goliaths.
