I just love how uniform movement and combat is thrown out the window to make you actually feel like youre using a hero with their own moveset. Instead of forcing Spiderman to be on the floor smacking peeps they actually let him swing as much as he wants, they allow for flying heros and actual teleports, thats what really drives this game and makes the characters more interesting.

SPIDER-MAN GUIDE: So from my understanding the thing he does differently with Spider-Man to make him viable is turn off auto swing for spiderman in settings (for better precise movements and pulling yourself to health packs) and I think the combo is after you right click an enemy marking them and use the pull yourself ability you press web swing the moment you make contact then uppercut immediately cancelling the kick off animation from the pull ability. After that just left click to your hearts content or right click again if they’re moving away. I might be missing a part of it but it makes hitting flying targets actually possible.

From the get go when people were complaining that spiderman is bad I knew he was actually a more skill intensive character with a learning curve that will require a lot of experimenting to figure out. It used to be the same with genji then when people mastered him they had to nerf him because the way pros were playing him made him broken.

@@amuro9624yea he’s the only 5star difficulty character but idk it’s hard to tell if the animation canceling was intentional but I think turning off auto swinging and getting used to it will be key considering how slow his running speed is when going for health packs. I feel like there’s ways to make him more noob friendly without ruining him but those changes might just make the best spiders unbeatable if they keep the combo just like you said with early genjis. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of him when they add a character that synergizes with Spider-Man giving him higher stats or an extra move like venom who’s already been data mined and might show up on release. That’s something we really gotta take into account is how new characters being added will make old ones meta with direct synergys. Like I only play magneto when there’s a Wanda on my team because that sword ability is so strong to use on brawlers. Without her you’re pretty weak against them and it completely neuters his close range damage options

I think the only part you're missing is after the uppercut he alternates between left click and right click, because right click doubles the damage of left click.

@necros if you haven't played Black Panther you should spam him. When you mark an enemy, if you dash through them, you get a second dash. He's legit close to Genji

Marvel Rival's spiderman might be the coolest, most insane and best designed character i've seen in a hero shooter, it's insane how perfect his kit is, many characters still feel very basic, but daaaaaaammmmm they really cooked with the goat. I also feel like the hyper mobility melee characters will be much more accesible here than in overwatch because of the third person, the wider perspective and seeing your character make's it a lot easier and more natural to calculate it's movements and to just follow your character and it's surroundings. I could get very dizzy playing genji in overwatch. I know, it's totally a skill issue lmao, but i think this is great. The coolest character being a bit more accessible while still having the most ridiculous skill ceiling is the right way to go in my opinion.

Ive been playing rocket raccoon in the alpha test. What a fun support to play! He can climb walls, fly in spurts (jet pack) and float. He has really good escapability as a support. His ult is a supercharger and its a team fight winner. Supports in this game can do good damage. Looking forward to the full version. This game is going to be popular.

Spider-man is what genji should be. But instead genji has 3 passives, a movement ability that also deals ridiculous damage while also resetting on assists. That same ability reseting when you activate ult. And a deflect that not only defects meele attacks but also is the size of rinehardt shield

11:09 Ironman isn't weak, you're just amazing at mobility with Genji and Spider-man and super difficult to hit once you dash in. Also that Ironman had bad aim even when you were further away, his unibeam just wooshes over you constantly. I think bad players play Ironman because he has a low star rating but he's actually difficult to play optimally.
