The toy box was a blast back in the day! I remember spawning a ton of stuff and watching my laptop struggle to keep up. I was playing on a trackpad with a broken mouse button, and the fps was single digits. It wasn’t the best experience, but it was my first time playing the game back in 2011. And in 2012, I was so annoyed when they took it away!

do you have old installs of gmod from 2010 or 2012 cuz i will need some cache data that you might have! like go to addons folder and get the toybox folder and go to toybox in garrys mod folder and find cached gcf files

My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to have the cool download animation that the original toybox had when you spawned something in but other then that this is awesome!

This is because this is the gmod 13 version. There is a version for gmod 12 (just normal gmod 12, actually), and it does have the animations, as well as being more functional than the gmod 13 version.

Hey there is this addon called Weshop which let's you have a money system and get money by killing and lose it by dying, you can even put your own items or entities in it and set the price. Really cool mod so I received trying it out!

Don't get me wrong, I _love_ modern mods for Garry's Mod, but to be honest, I also miss simple stuff like this. So yeah. Glad to have this, but it's still a shame that we now have like 3 different Toybox addons rather than one with everything.

One thing that always kinda disappointed me about Toybox recreations, is that they are solely archives. I want to see one that allows people to upload their own creations again. New things being created for it by any random person. Until that can happen, it's not going to be Toybox, it will be a glorified collection of old addons.
