True. To have the character of Jesus, Adventists must come and study earnestly, diligently the Bible and the Testimonies for the Church will reveal the attributes of Christ develop Christlikeness character. We read, " Let us study more diligently the Word of God...Let us thank the Lord for His precious Word(Bible), and for the messages of His Spirit( The Testimonies) that give so much light...The study of these precious volumes will teach us how to form characters that will reveal the attributes of Christ." Manuscript 81, 1908 ( 3SM 359, subject, " Study The Testimonies " ) Sister White wrote in COL p.69 " Christ is waiting with longing desire for the manifestation of Himself in His Church. When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own." So, it is evidence from these inspired writings that we, Seventh day Adventists MUST study the Bible and Testimonies for the Church together that we will develop Christlike character and be prepared for the times of trouble.
