I rest in God - Lesson 109 A Course in Miracles

Dear friends,
This morning I felt inspired to share a video with you that is all about rest. It's not really about physical rest, but about how we can be resting in God no matter what kind of crazy turmoil is going on around us. As lesson 109 of A Course in Miracles says:
"We ask for peace and stillness, in the midst of all the turmoil born of clashing dreams. We ask for safety and for happiness, although we seem to look on danger and on sorrow." (ACIM, W-109.1:2-3)
For how can we be truly helpful in a world of conflict and war, when there is a war going on inside of ourselves as well?
The video that I just posted on youtube is a part of my Voice Liberation gathering on February 20th. I was feeling very sick that day but still felt inspired to let the event go through, and to more deeply understand and experience what it means to rest in God and let the Spirit work through me. It ended up being such a beautiful and magical gathering, where I truly felt so held and supported by Spirit.
I wanted to share this video with you, in the hope that it can support you as well in finding a resting place within yourself, no matter what is going on around you.
This of course does not mean that we deny what is happening in the world, but it does mean that we remember that what we see on the screen is an 'outside picture of an inward condition'. And that therefore instead of trying to justify our anger, we remember to use whatever is triggered to look within, and heal the cause of our suffering by practicing true forgiveness, instead of trying to fix the effects of our belief in guilt.
And when we can hear the Voice of the Spirit again instead of the voice of the ego, we might be inspired to also do something in form. It then however will be inspired by love, instead of by guilt.

So so perfect....this for me is the reminder from Jesus to be unconditional and noncompromising about WHERE we place our minds and hearts whenever the ego swirls thoughts that can spin us out into darkness....all the ego insanity in our minds can be used like "glue" to fix our determination INWARD toward the light of God.....and rest THERE no matter what Thanks SO Much Neda!

Ik luister met een open hart en ziel deze morgen bij het ontwaken na mijn korte nacht. Je raakt me recht in mijn kern, ik voel de energie, de heling en transformatie in mijzelf, de rust, de verbinding met god, de heldere zuivere boodschap. Helend in mijn hart en ziel. I rest in God. Een baken van Licht, de omarming van God. Ruimte in mijn hart en lichaam, geef ik mijzelf over aan de rust die deze woorden en energie mij geven, mij dragen in al dat is. De dag van vrede in mijn hart en de vrede van God. Emoties en tranen vloeien, mijn hele zijn begint los te laten wat niet meer dient. Een shift in mij is gaande. Geen woorden voor de innerlijke bevrijding die ik nu voel 💜🙏

Wow. Divine intervention. Thank you.❤️ My lesson today from the ACIM is “God is my refuge and security.” During my meditation, I would take slow deep breaths and on the slow exhales I would make the “ah” sound out loud. Then again out loud, I would say: “I learn to walk with God.” I would quiet my mind and repeat “I learn to walk with God.” When tears would start to fall as thoughts of my son would arise, who is facing many challenges at once, I prayed that he would open his heart and ask Jesus to take the wheel; to ask Jesus for help and guidance. And wherever you are, brothers and sisters, I pray that God soothes your heart and mind as well. During my meditation, I was listening to soft music called I AM LOVE. Once I was done, I noticed your video from my playlist, right above the I AM LOVE video. I decided to rest on the floor while listening to your video. Your beautiful words, your voice and music on the piano soothed my soul. I felt it was a beautiful extension of the lesson 261. “God is my refuge and security. In Him is everlasting peace. And there only will I remember Who I really am.”🙏 “I rest in God.”

Neda, the Holy Spirit led me to hear this today. I’m so thankful for this truth. I rest in God. I hear Him calling me. And I want to sing and play my guitar and now I’d like to learn piano. It’s been in my heart for so long and it is a small, gentle invitation to do this. I think I get in my own way. Because of fear and the thought of maybe it’s not His voice telling me to do that. Maybe I will make a wrong choice. But I’m so thankful that you shared this with me. All that I was feeling has been handed over to Him and now I rest in God today. ❤️
