Interessant verhaal nu weet ik hoe het gegaan is in NNG. Wij hadden een Papoea jongen aan boord van klep 7 die onze kleren waste en allerlei andere klusjes deed was eigelijk gewoon een lid van de bemanning maar toen de overdracht aan de VN plaats vond die dag was hij verdwenen met achterlaten van al zijn bezittingen zo bang moet hij toen geweest zijn.

After Forbbes Wilson explored Metal Mountain in West Papua in May 1960, US Ambassador in Jakarta Mr. Jones was waiting inauguration of John. F. Kennedy as President in January 21th, 1961. He sent letter to Kennedy to pushed Dutch transferred the Administration of Dutch New Guinea or West Papua into Indonesia. In February 1961, Sukarno and Kennedy always sent the letter each other. In 5 April 1961 Kennedy not support inauguration of New Guinea Council but support Sukarno visit USA in April 1961. UN Secretary General Daag Hamarskjöld must killed in Congo before UN General Assembly Sessions in September 1961 because of his plans in UNGA Resolution 1514/XVI for Granted independent of Non Self Governing Territories included West Papua where it was setup in UNGA Resolution 448/V. In December 1st, 1961. West Papua Declared independent but USA wasn't support it. December 16th, 1961 Sukarno sent letter to Kennedy to pushed Dutch on their Proposal to UN General Assembly for registered West Papua as UN Member in September 1962. In 2 April 1962, Kennedy pushed Dutch PM De Quay to accept Elsworth Bunker's Plans. Also, UN Secretary General U Than pushed Dutch PM De Quay to accept US Diplomat Elsworth Bunker's Plans. Finally, Dutch signed Elsworth Bunker's Plans in UN Headquarters on August 15th, 1961 and failed to complete their Proposal to UN General Assembly Sessions in September 1962. Dutch must leaved West Papua in October 1st, 1962 and the Administration of West Papua must be transferred to the United Nations Temporary Executives Authority (UNTEA) and then must transferred to Indonesia in May 1st, 1961. Indonesia was created by the Netherlands at that time Indonesia wanted to be free from Dutch oppression, but when other groups also want freedom or independence. then it is not allowed again West Papua had the right to make their choice whether they wanted to remain part of the Netherlands, part of Indonesia or independence I find that incomprehensible and disrespectful
