The good thing about trains is that you don't wait till it's full before it leaves the station, unlike coaches or mini buses. We can't wait to board the train, Naija for show!👏✊ Like, share & subscribe, thanks for watching👍

The construction is starting this year Bronco, what you are saying was said about the Lagos Ibadan rail line, but trains are running on it since last year. The reason many projects are abandoned is lack of money. If you finished watching the video, you will see that funding is available for the project.

New developments in my country give me orgasms. These rail lines are long overdue. For short distance travel, I prefer travelling by train to flying due to unnecessary times wasted at the airports. I can't wait for the day Nigeria will be where we should really be. Thanks for the great research and reporting! 🙌🙌

May God bless you for this video. I have just stumbled upon your video, and as a core northerner, it gives me confidence that there are still good Nigerians from the South that want good for Nigeria. It's true that PMB's administration needs to do more on security, poverty and youths inclusion in the government. But above all, his 6 years is better than the 16 years of PDP. How I wished this is the kind of outlook we present Nigeria on the global scale, things would been different.

At what cost? Is Nigeria getting true value for the money this government has borrowed or are we just being unnecessarily delusional? This video and others are so misleading sir, I can tell you for free, this Lagos to Calabar route is mere propaganda. I will like to see a video of when Buhari will flag off this Lagos to Calabar line like he just did for Kaduna to Kano line and that of Daura to Maradi line in Republic of Niger.

Buhari has done well in infrastructure and agric, but the insecurity he allowed is threatening to undo his good works. I'm a southerner, but I know that four years of Buhari gave this country more than the 16 years of PDP - especially those disastrous years of Jonathan.

This is probably the most important rail project since Nigeria's history as it not only connects several towns and cities in southern Nigeria but more importantly will stitch up all the seaports (existing and under construction) which means ships bound to Nigeria could actually call at any of these ports if the intended port is unable to berth ships at ETA. This same rail could also pave way for further economic integration with Cameroon and the rest of central and East Africa via Calabar - Douala - Yaounde. I guess sometime in the future there'll be rail construction between Birnin Kebbi (Nigeria's last state capital to the north west) with Maiduguri (Nigeria's last state capital to the north East) with Kano as a critical junction. Then later Sokoto to Ilorin

This is absolutely what businessmen across the length and breath of Nigeria need direly besides encouraging tourism and the ease it brings as well as being very viable connecting all the regions. Congratulations to The Nigerian Government and their stakeholders and Partners for this great project. As a kid, we travelled from Umuahia to Enugu train line and it is the most memorable part of my childhood. Once these rail lines are put to use, Nigerians will breathe another sphere of air, the air of release, relief, part of being and belonging and develop a different friendly sense of belonging psychologically. Nigerians have sufferred and really needed something that eases the stress of challenges in life.

That's a welcome development

Security is got to be a top issue(eg building iron or steel fence on both sides of the tracks.) That should be provided paid for either by the state or federal government rather than the Chinese. Cctv cameras, constant drone flights and satellite monitoring systems should be conducted, all utilised with Israel state of the art-- security training and equipments. It would be absolutely insane to treat security of lives and of this whole rail 🚈 project with kids gloves!!.. GOD willing there's a sure silver lining on our Nigerian cloud!!. God bless you buddy for all your positive reports. Subscriber.

I really think it is we Nigerians that need reorientation. As poor and as backward as some European countries are, you will never see them stealing and destroying rail lines. The whole of Europe is connected by rail and these lines even pass through many rural areas, yet they respect and appreciate the lines. We all blame governments here and yet are wicked to ourselves by destroying public utilities. Shame!

Why do you guys think like that? Who will build fence around rail road for heaven's sake? Don't be laughable. No thieves dare steal active Rail Rods. Waoh!!! How dare you think that way for heaven's sake? That thing is a conductor and if you lay hands on it, it will trigger off somewhere that you're tampering with it. Secondly, it's not something you can just remove like your touch light batteries. WAOH!!!..Thirdly, the rail road is busy with train on it. Once you get too close to it to do evil, the technology will already let the train itself know that something is being removed and lastly, Where will you go with active Rail slippers or rods? Even your children will lynch you. The one you heard was being stolen were the ones abandoned close to forty years ago or more or less. You can get worried for terrorists and IPOB and Herdsmen who destroy everything that belongs to the State. Bombs, yes... But not stealing. I am not sure IPOB will even do that in the SE. I just don't know if they'd blow up even rail roads and the Niger Bridge. Common, humanity has not got that low yet.

Nedmeia! This is one of your best productions so far. Your narration was measured, clear, and precise. The details you provided were spot-on! You bring smiles to the faces of Nigerians who are clamoring for the expected take-off of the Nigerian economy. Nigeria is about to become a Super-power. When that electricity project you highlighted a few weeks ago comes on line, the country will explode with economic activity. All the potential economic investments and inventions that have been bottled up all these years, will be unleashed. Those gifted youth, who design and build everything from cars to airplanes will finally have the raw material that they need to produce their products. The future for Nigeria is really bright, once we get past this period of upheaval. This period will surely pass, because you know the old saying; before dawn, it gets very dark. So, thanks for highlighting these projects and giving them the uplifting attention that they deserve. One last thing, though. Please try and emphasize the ""Th" in "Thanks", so you don't sound like you're saying "Tanks". It's very important that your audience know that you're thanking them, okay. Just a word of advice. Good job my brother.

@@adetunjisamson262 I think d only way to keep d APC in power is by using an Igbo candidate fr presidency in the coming election and maybe missed with a Yoruba as a deputy. I think that is d only thing that can still keep Nigeria united wit the way things are going do knw that as it stands there are little or no political gathering In the East ryt now the unknown gun men are going around tormenting the politicians wit guns reminding them that there will no election in the East come 2023 they even went as far as setting a police hilux van ablaze and the police men flied fr their lives this happen during this week

Thieves steal the old rail slippers. Never Never Never anything to do with rail roads of this era. It's a no go area for thieves, because there's no where you can go with them. Find out in the News. It's got nothing.... I repeat Nothing to do with this rail road. It has to do with old old rail slippers. Which they shouldn't steal anyway. But they thought they could help themselves to it

Excellent video and narration, keep the excellent job up. Africans must tell their stories no matter how minute or trivial it might sound because for a long time the world has been subject to negative news about Africa and black peoples but now we can tell the truth by telling it as it is. So your efforts and those of others like you and the positive language you use is very encouraging and reinforces a positive mindset and attitude towards Nigeria and Africa. We don’t want to hear Western negativity any more

The funny thing about Nigeria is that, as good people including the narrator wish for the success of these laudable projects, there are also many people benefiting from the current chaos and backwardness including those in government who due to selfish reasons would actively work against their successful implementation.
