Ned: Good at Abes. Ive long searched for a 'master class' type series for advanced ableton stuff where the presenter isn't some complete joker and woefully unqualified to present such a video. Ive found my man! Wicked good stuff.

Tine comes from the pointy parts of a fork. In an electric piano, instead of strings, the hammers hit thin metal rods of increasing length (longer is lower in pitch) which are amplified with coil pick-ups. The rods are referred to as tines.

That Rhodes stuff was a real eye opener and an absolute master class Ned! Thank you. When you flicked on stereo in the amp and cab - it was brain melting!

The Rhodes sounds are perfect for a drumfunk dnb track 🥁

ds loops bring windowlicker vibes. I also really enjoy that since I have been following since Live 10 even though I don't have 12 yet I can make this translate to all the tricks you taught in previous versions. Dope!!

This is amazing love the Rhodes sounds at the end.. some haunting, some beautiful some like old advertisements or boot up sounds for old consoles

Brilliant use of the expression tool in the drum rack. Great idea!

First of all, thank you very much for this video. It's fantastic to watch you develop new ideas directly in the video. I have created 16 one shots like in the video. Is there a simple way to export them quickly? Which option should I choose? Sorry for the simple question, but I very rarely work with clip view. Thank you very much for your answer.

You should make the ultimate final boss of generative music where its a very intrecate and overly complex project that generates a totally different whole song in just 1 button. Outros intros break sections etc. Maybe not different structually but the individual elements and sounds and like a different scale each time etc. Could be its own video series or dunno how long that kind of a thing would take to make. You could maybe even make some custom max devices for it or have a community thing where patreons can send you devices/effect chains

I did something similar back in 2016 rudenhs.bandcamp.com/album/unsubscribe

Miles would be proud of your electric piano abuse 😊 great processes here dude, you could totally apply this all just to generating midi as well. Would be mad to make prog stuff I reckon

Mr Bill did a tutorial on how he multisampled his modular into individual clips in ableton for those who don’t have the most recent version of LIVE.

ableton sure has advanced in all these years. I just use ableton live intro for tracking a few tracks.
