17:25 More envelope control; what about putting warp mode on in sampler and do that trick in "Beat" mode to shorten the stabs. You did it earlier in the video but with the wav sample.

+Ned Rush around 17:20 you're playing with the vocal in sampler and saying you can't do anything about the envelope/decay of the sample chops. But can't you just put the sampler in to "Beat" mode and shorten the length like you did earlier in the video with the wav sample?

Flayxz didn't think of that.

Or you can convert your simpler to a drum rack, then convert each cell of the DR in a sampler and you'll have an envelope for each slice. If you want the same envelope for your slices you juste have to use the "copy to siblings" option.

Ned, thanks for the videos, you have learnt me some right groovey shit. But maybe you could make the mouse icon a bit bigger so i can see what your doing more easy.

Cool video! I used simpler and the max for live device Instant Haus to come up with some cool chops for a vocal in one of my tunes and it worked really well. The patterns they have on that device work really well, simple yet effective.
