For anyone wondering why the horde night was a lot less intense and don't know or own the game: The game's mechanics are set for horde nights; Zombie:Player ratios. So if they have it set to like 8 Zombies: 1 Player, this means for 4 players, each wave of the Horde would spawn 32 zombies. And let's just say there's 7 waves a horde night, that'd total around 224 zombies. But since Neebs is dummied out as a Player and is completely invisible to the zombies and the game's mechanics, this shifts the paradigm of the game dramatically. Now the ratio is 8:3 meaning 24 zombies per wave. Now it's equaling 168 zombies, a loss of 56 each night. In order for a return to the intensity of before, they'll have to set the ratio, probably via an XML to 10:1 or 11:1 Zombies per player to get back to 30/33 a wave. Otherwise, with the overall decrease in players, Horde Nights actually get much easier to survive.

Yup…the game is actually “harder” the more higher level players are present. It brings up the overall game stage. I’m guessing his level bumped it up above the threshold for radiated zombies and him leaving dropped it below.

APPSRO, the thing that "hit" you, that you didnt see was kind of explained by Khaine in one of his videos a few months back. The zombies have a "glancing blow" effect if you hit them in the right spot which causes them to lunge forward and hit you with an invisible "shrug" hit. Its a zombie animation glitch the fun pimps need to fix

Thats not how the game works, it only spawns a certain amount of zombies per the difficulty and number of players, if Dora and Neebs have 60 between their houses it would mean there's 10 total spawns of zombies left ( Numbers are an example, idk what their settings are) ​@@lho10101

On horde night the game spawns Zombies that specifically target an individual player and path directly for them; usually a roughly same amount of these for each player all else equal. The rest are just spawned in and go for the nearest enemy, but like @codybaker3386 was saying they will often path for who they can get to the easiest. It’s why Kane and Glock were always having these guys fortify and put up multiple layers of wall 3-4 blocks high, and use doorways for where you want them to go. I believe Zombies see doors as only being half of the doors actual HP for pathing decisions. It makes them “want” to go through doors more than a wall of the same HP.

If Neebs was in spectator mode, then he should have had no affect on the zombies, but we can clearly see that he did, and with the way they kind of always went after either him or Dora, this is leading me to believe that some shenanigans have gone down, especially with whatever that poof of smoke was around Simon, then all of a sudden there were zero zombs there?!?! They need to increase the XP gain to max, because since neebs is in another game mode or something there's less players contributing to the overall levels for zombies appearing so Like 4 players at lvl 25 = lvl 100 for the area, but with 1 less they went down in difficulty to like lvl 75 or less, also make sure simon use's his level points the game may think he's still lvl 5 with unspent points.

They aren´t in a party together and the combined gamestage only happens when they are in a party. At least i have never seen the healthbars of the others top left. Wouldn´t make sense to gain XP from others in a competition anyways. The formula for gamestage is a bit more complicated than just adding it together. The player with the highest gamestage contributes 100% of his gamestage, second player only 50% and it get´s lower with each player. What does happen that there is less zombies as the zombiecount for bloodmoon in the options is per player.

@@pApA0LeGBa There's 2 different party systems in 7DtD. There's the obvious one, where you join up with other players and can see their stats and whatnot. Then there's the hidden one. 7 Days to Die groups people in close proximity to figure out an appropriate challenge for them under the assumption that they are cooperative even though they aren't in a party. I don't know the range on that and it may not come into play for their horde nights. They *do* have a fair bit of distance between them.

Spikes don't count towards your kill count though, so Simon and Dora will have lower kill counts than Appsro from that.

It's a game mechanic. It's X#/Player so when Neebs died, the total number zombies went from X#/4 players to X#/3 players. That is to say that if they set it to 64 zombies / player, then it was 256 zombies when it was all 4 of them. With Neebs dead, it's now 192 zombies

That sure was a wierd night. Glad to see you guys kept neebs around though, i wasn't expecting it but it was a welcome surprise plus you know that neebs banter is always on point. Also I had an idea, neebs had to take on waves of 4 player where everyone else will now take on less, that doesn't seem very fair. Not sure how agro works but I think every loser should be put back into the game as a live player and then be allowed to "haunt" one of the living player, you have to change who you "haunt" every night. If it increases agro it would be hikarious and will still keep the hirde waves at an acceptable level. Also a fun concellation prize for the losers. Plus I suspect the back seat driving "ghost" banter will be hilarious. Obviously the ghost cant help they just get to sit in someone elses defenses being snarky. Maybe on an elivated platform?
