Yeah at this point in the game they all should have high tier crafted armour and legendary weapons.... or at least higher tier ones that drop nearly 100% of the time from npc's around the map. They are even playing the game on easy difficulty settings ( i can tell because of the damage they take from npc's). They need to farm 3 skeleton keys from easy to defeat world bosses then do the dregs dungeon since its the most easy and provides 3 chests at the end with legendary weapons.

You can use the zath knife on spiders and get a zath sac that often has really nice stuff inside, easy way to get LOTS of silk. Also that spider cave has a lot of metal and brimstone in it. But it is hilarious how you go through that, kill everything and nothing on the otherside.

Hey Anthony if you carry a cleaver you can chop the heads off of animals and Bosses then you can mount the heads as Trophy's. You my have to learn the skill and build a special table If I remember correctly or the game has changed.

You guys live a stones throw from Sinner's Refuge where you are almost guaranteed to find a T4 named priest you will also find at least two dancers, you could get lucky and find a T4 named worker either a blacksmith, carpenter, tanner or even a dancer. The best way to deal with sinners refuge is knock everyone out, otherwise you might accidently kill who you want, then take your pick.

that boss who was with the skeleton army has a chance to drop a really cool looking hood that has the highest strength in the game for the head slot. So no, they are not guarding nothing, they are guarding one of the best pieces of armor in the game.
