Loved this movie when it came out... I was in high school and it was around the time we were getting the S550 Mustang here in Australia. I dreamt of owning one, every time I watched this movie I wanted to be in a Mustang of my own... 10 years later (March 2024) I have my own Ford Mustang GT.

Well, this movie was produced in 2014, and that ending gave us the new look of the next generation mustang coming in 2015. Gotta say tho I’m curious on when that was actually filmed prior to release. Feel like they definitely got a very early production car for the movie

While it does look great, probably they cant do it since its to 'humanizing' the film a bit, BMW M3 GTR is one of a kind car that you can't just drive it anywhere without cops finding you (for the koenigsegg and other sports car its still makes sense because they can just smuggle from street legal europe to US, but M3 GTR? not only the car are legend that causes massive police chasing, the car itself is not for sale and only for track racing, much like F1 cars) so yeah i guess thats why they dont use the M3. Also, probably hard to get one of those with limited budget, even the custom basic from standard E46

I’d love to see more need for speed movies as it’s been almost 10 years. I’m guessing the movie didn’t make a lot of money in theaters which sucks bc it’s a great racing movie.. I’d love to see other NFS movies of like different stories of other drivers and street racers.

Love the movie but i got one thing to say . They got all that tech and planes and stuff and the pot is only 5k. Its gonna cost way more than that just for the paint job not to mention if one of them happen to crash. It just wouldn't be worth it. One of them cars alone is worth 50k or more especially if they in the condition them cars are in. JS ✌🏾
