Need for Speed 30th Anniversary Marathon ep.14 - Need for Speed World

It's time for a proud moment on my channel to introduce to some NFS fans a game of the series which holds a special place in my heart and it's name is:
"Need for Speed World"
Starting from 2009 as Chinese releases to closed or open beta and releases in 2010, World was the game which for some was the real beginning of trying for the first time or "and" understanding online multiplayer racing.
Myself I first heard about this game about 2010 when it came out and saw a site to register have e-mail account and such, which lead to a lot of fun racing opportunities, but most especially meeting new people, friends which I have to this day and also important introduction to competitive racing and challenging myself against other people, which lead to many serious races, online leagues and even the creation of Online Racing Crews.
Even one of them in which I am to this day called: "Elite Racing Team" which is a Polish Racing Crew made by former Street Racing Clan members.
The game allowed you to race with AI opponents, have police chases, drive races with other players and even escaping with other players. All of these had some special options called "Powerups" included where you could use for example a Juggernaut in front of your car to destroy your opponent or the Police for that matter or for example traditionally Nitrous or Slingshot which allowed for quicker acceleration and positive boost to increase your pace.
You could as well tune your cars from visual customization to special skills which helped in any area like increasing nitrous power or race rewards, or performance parts where you could cars from class E to S and upgrade them or downgrade them when you needed and if it was possible for a particular car.
There was also some achievements where you was getting rewards, as well as player level, money and experience gained after the races, microtransactions with a virtual currency called "Speed Boosts" even Car Insurance to not have the car damaged after some of the races or downgraded to a class from what I remember, or you could as well get some parts, cars and many things using those Speed Boosts currency or to pay for any prize packs such as for example the Car Prize Pack.
One last thing I can say. It was one of the most amazing racing games I ever played, although there was a lot of grind and problems such as cheating and even less support of it which the game was facing later.
It was a fun game which lead you to earn your rewards, get to know people and race them or escape from the cops. The game unfortunately got closed 14 July 2015 and only came back unoficially as Soapbox Race World as players project which i'm presenting here in the video. I think it would be nice to have one more game like that globally released by EA regarding the NFS series for PC.
