The point is not to tune it up completely to 400+ and have all the performance stats as high as possible. Mine is 395 but the cornering is just so much better with showcase suspension and road tires.Then also choose a 6-speed gearbox instead of 7 because it will remove that dip in the 7th gear and the car will accelerate more eagerly at 300+ kph (however this will reduce your top speed to 360kph instead of 375). It's definitely not the fastest car in the game but I enjoy it most.

How it should be: The older/lower end cars should have more upgradability and the super/hyper/race cars should have limited upgradability. The race cars should exceed in acceleration, breaking, turning and stability, but lack top speed due to their extreme downforce. While the standard hyper cars should exceed in top speed but lack the latter. Meaning that, those who wish to build up a car over time will be able to do so while others can get a race ready car when they have reached the end game and have attained a rather large sum of money.

You have to put on the last engine in the f40 to get it to a level 314 it is a 4.4 liter v8 engine then ultimate plus parts all the way and then you have the best car in the game

if you put ultimate parts on a stock engine, but then you want to engine swap it, you'd need to take off the ultimate parts, buy the new engine, and then put your ultimate parts on the new engine. if you didn't take off your ultimate parts on your stock engine before engine swapping it, you'd still have the parts, but they would be on the stock engine which can be found in the inventory section of engine swaps :)
