Indeed. The game’s sound design is still superb. Everything sounds and feels like a major threat (like how the camera shakes when you have a big air and fall to the ground), but to a degree when you still want to keep playing. It’s basically NFS III: Hot Pursuit in steroids. I still have the game disc, but no means to play it :( .

Just the song alone from the beginning brings goosebumps to my neck. I remember racing in a 10 car race, pursuit version. Final lap, you got spike strips near the finish line, you got choppers dropping barrels on you, 3 squad cars chasing you. My little kid heartbeat was racing lmaoo

I've recently found that if you turn a corner perfectly and you don't have to be specifically fast, opponents don't come close. But if you make an extremely fast turn and lean just a little of the car against the wall, that's enough for the other runners to approach you. I think this is the way of the game of understanding that you made a mistake on the corner, and then the other cars come flying at you

I owned an Electron Blue 2002 C5 Z06 because of this game. Now I have a Crown Vic Interceptor. Because of this game. Lol

Try the Porsche 911 Turbo, as it is a very good handling car thanks to its low-perched Flat 6 engine and All Wheel Drive system.

The Corvette is one of the trickiest cars in the game, oversteers like crazy.

My favorite car to use is the dodge viper. Not sure why. I guess because you seeing that thing beating a Lamborghini or Ferrari. That and its huge horsepower.

Dude, and it says, in curves do you use the handbrake or the normal one? During the turn is the handbrake? What I do is, I brake carefully before a curve, then I release the brake, enter the curve. And I curve perfectly, how do you do it?
