In most NFS games the cops only go for you. This was one of the first games where the CP racers were also the victim. Like at 3:03 when the Murciélago is taken out.

Car Enthusiast Actually cops go for other racers in mw if they sighted the opponent first if the race finishes with cops opponents take a long time to fade in the mini map because they're running from the cops

Yes, it was in MW as well. Regarding Paul Walker, he was in the passenger seat at the moment of crash. The CGT in real life is a unstable car. The clutch is brutal, and you have to be awake to drive that car. Watch Jeremy Clarkson's review of the car on Top Gear, he does say that.
