Pretty amazing driving skills. Hot Pursuit is so much fun, it's all about racing, no storyline, no hidding, no missions, no speedlists etc. Pure adrenaline. Easy to access but tremendously difficult to master. You basically need to learn the roads, know the right shortcuts and most importantly, know how to drift in the curves at more than 200 kph. The Remastered version for the Xbox Series X is significantly improved: higher resolution with proper anti-aliasing (compared to 720p and almost to AA on PS3) and super smooth 60fps in performance mode allowing for low input latency which is especially relevant at high speed. I'm beating my PS3 records! This game was pushing the PS3 to the limit and it always felt like the console could barely cope, with frame rate dropping off a cliff at times. Now NFS HP has finally the hardware it deserves on console. Overall a vastly improved experience.

There's a reason why this game won so many awards back in 2010 and even outsold Gran Turismo 5 for a while. The fact that no other NFS game since then has accomplished what this one did says it all. This is what Need for Speed has always been about, before the whole tunning thing in Underground and Most Wanted, this was the original recipe; beautiful scenery, long winding roads, police and supercars.
