a mirror box is a setup for seamless nvidia surround sort of things basically it uses mirrors to remove the bezels.

A mirror box is a two monitor setup with a third mirrored monitor in between to create an illusion of a really wide screen. It is best used a a dark in closed area just like an arcade machine.

But by the looks of it it also has two monitors upside down on the top so it has a tri-mirrored display.

Or you guys could read the description and head to his build log and see how he did it. He's basically placed a mirror over the bezels of the left and right monitors, so that when the third centre monitor is reflected it's displayed over the bezels, thus "removing" them. Personally I'd like to see someone rip apart 3 LCD's and mount the panels inside so close as to have no bezel.

It seems your side monitors are a tiny bit to high. and by tiny bit i would guess around 3-7 mm.

Bad ass, but am I the only on that noticed the color shift compared and height difference compared to the non-reflected monitor. maybe some fine-tuning? This is insane though I might have to do this.

+Robert Patterson Yeah. I'm not sure what would bug me the most. The loss of brightness or bezels. That middle screen really pops out. I guess the guy tried his best to match the displays with tweaks... Well, I hope not so it could be fixed.

I like the no borders but triple monitors is not for me it's just too wide and I'm not tryna play video games on an imax screen lol. I just like ultra graphics in 4k. I don't know why so many pc gamers have triple monitors it just don't make sense to me...

+Codeman785 So it's closer to real life peripheral vision. You get a greater sense of speed.

It's really helpful in flight sims because in real life you're not limited to a single window, and outside visibility is really important. Even more if it's a combat game like DCS, if you have multiple monitors and TrackIR you can dogfight without losing sight of your enemy as easily, see enemy missile launches and know when to dodge, etc.
