Ooohhh! now I get it! :) thanks, pal. It's like N64 Cartdridges, they only can store 70MB, and now mini-DVDs can only store 1.4GB that's why they can't hold to much information even if the console can run it. O.K. thanks again!

I personally like the gamecube version better. The lack of blur and contrast (that to me is overdone in the ps2 version) makes it easier to see where the hell you're driving.

well that is true that ps2 has better graphics but gamecube was a hell of a lot more fun

Yeah, I want to share with somebody this two things: 1- they say Gamecube is more powerful than Ps2, but I can see all GC games look better on PS2. 2- Why nobody mentions the PC or Xbox version of the game? XBOX (Normal), AND PC LOOK A LOT BETTER THAN GC OR PS2!!!!

No lie on tv looks way better i think and when i used to play this, it was considered insane graphics, loved this game

It looks like shit compared to ps2 version which runs on inferior hardware. Just a lazy port really

@@urbi3006 the gamecube was in fact the more powerful console at the time. They just didn't have enough disk space. Thats why all of the songs are shorter. This version has the worst textures, but is more clear than the others, plus the frame rate is unlocked. Crap what am I doing replying to 4 year old comments?

@@maleman2546 Notifications are great right? And you're incorrect. The GC had a less powerful CPU and GPU than the Xbox, while having by far the best RAM. At least according to wikipedia. The original Xbox was the most powerful 6th gen console.

Uh actuly YOUR wrong. I owned a copy for both consoles and the ps2 version was atleast 1.5X better. Not hatting on the gamecube just saying.

The graphics do not really matter. What matters is to fave fun with the game. I have it for GameCube and the graphics are fine. I have it on Xbox 360 and it broke. So good thing I had it fro GameCube.

Xbox 360 version it's the best and it's polished graphics but the motion blur is not like compared to the PC so i think the PC and 360 are the best. Xbox then PS2 and Gamecube.

Maybe you do some research... I don't know why this got so many thumbs up, actually the PS2 version does have better graphics. Better looking reflections on the car and the world, and also higher texture resolution on the roads. The GC MW is probably the worst looking version of all, apart from the handheld versions.

How's this: Who cares about the graphics and just enjoy the game. :D I'm not saying I hate graphics but its not gonna make me stop from playing a game if it doesn't have those 'next-gen graphics'.

@ tonymamoni always a few fanboys desperately clinging to their 'PS2' theory. Face the facts the GCN and Xbox versions were pretty much identical with the PS2 version borderline unplayable - much like BurnOut 2. I've played all three and this view is also corroborated by reviews in 2005. The first search I made brings up the multiplat IGN review who state the PS2 version is the worst.

liveswired Ehh I wouldn't say that the GameCube and Xbox ports were the same. The Xbox version seems to have much better reflections and different little effects that aren't in the GameCube version, but the GC port seems to be more clearer thought lacking the visual treatment filter which some people do dislike. I wouldn't call the PS2 version unplayable, I don't know what makes you say that, if anything it plays just as well as the other versions. Also what happened with the Burnout 2 port? I would really like to know, from what I've seen the 3 versions pretty much look exactly the same except maybe the GC port has stronger reflections. I do want to get the best versions of these games even if the differences are minimal, seeing how cheap they've gotten.
