NFS 2015. The official Need for Speed reboot from the Ghost Games era. Need for Speed 2015 was originally received with mixed opinions & feedback from both review critics and fans of the franchise. Most people either loved the game or completely hated it. Me personally, I never had the chance to play this Need for Speed upon release until years later.. One of the most loved aspects about this installment in the NFS franchise was the return of car customization! Not only that, but it was the most authentic car customization in any car game ever.. at the time. What is your opinion on NFS 2015? Love it, Hate it? Let me know in the comments!

First time properly diving into NFS 2015! Fun fact, back when this game came out I only had a Playstation 2 lol. All jokes aside I actually dig the story and most of all the *VIBE* . Loving the tuner scene / focus and would LOVE to see this being emphasised again in a future Need for Speed installment. The physics are a bit janky but they're arguably some of the worst in the whole franchise lmao. What are yall thoughts and opinions on this game? Also feel free to drop any tips and tricks!

I remember just getting a PS4 when this drops. I sat back during the end of my High School days thinking Need for Speed changed for the better. Boy was my fanboy ass wrong 😭🤣

It's sadly one of the, if not even my most disliked NFS game. At first the janky physics were (for me at least) somewhat tolerable at the beginning, but after they released those damned prestige events it became a reaaaaaaaaly big problem. And also, the vibes are alright but the characters..........jesus christ man, those characters are so fucking tryhard and just simply cringe.

If I'm being real with ya, 2015 definitely should of had DLC, the way that this had been properly introduced to us, wasn't half caked, and the story you felt like you could interact with, It really set expectations high for NFS, that alone, excluding Black Box.

In my opinion, this game was rough in a few areas but superior aesthetically speaking, the whole dark nighttime underground racing theme made it really feel like real street racing, and that's what I think is missing from NFS games nowadays, it feels less "serious" so to speak. But that's just me. lol

I hate that some people say that this nfs is the most hated of the entire franchise. Besides all that they added to the old iconic musics and the graphics themselves, you still consider hate. He made more good updates than other games. You can at least mod the gameplay a little and the game is perfect from the steering wheel to the pedals

3:15 - Ahhh yes…the sound of late 90s nostalgia. TvT I still wish we could get a return to that classic style of gameplay and aesthetics. There’s simply nothing quite like blasting through the volcanic underground tunnel of Last Resort, or dodging between the pillars holding up the L-train track in the dystopian future of Empire City. And heaven knows modern NFS games would never dare try to be as whimsical with its track design and color palette as those OG games were.

My biggest issue with this game is the limited garage space. We finally get extreme levels of customization in a game again, but we're only limited to 10 cars? Massive opportunity missed. Other than that, the cops, the physics and always being online, this game was a pretty good one

The crash at 6:30 shows how whack collision is in this game (curiously, NOT a magnetic wall lol). But this was otherwise an enjoyable watch, although I will not shy away from saying that I had hoped for something different this time around, as I do not see much potential for a series in this game, but after the first episode, I'm kinda changing my mind. As for what kind of "something else?" Well: Porsche Unleashed, PS2 Hot Pursuit, Assetto Corsa, Gran Turismo 3 & 4 (or newer, but grinding only gets worse from here), The Crew, Driveclub, Forza Motorsport, Project Gotham Racing, Midnight Club, Tokyo Xtreme Racer series, Initial D, Test Drive, Ridge Racer, Grid, and so on and so forth 🎉.

Ghost Games really carried NFS with the graphics. Rivals was good, bringing the authentic cops vs robbers style on Hot Pursuit but the story seems lackluster as you accomplish objectives. 2015 was the peak NFS at best, with the underground night themed racing but the downside that its playable online and the car customization was underwhelming. At least I get to see the Toyota branded cars one last time before they shift their interest at other racing games. Payback was trash at best due to microtransactions and the slot machine cards that were used to upgrade your cars and then you need to match them up according to their respective brands. Story wise, looks like straight out of Fast and Furious movie with the heists and the new off-road racing as well. Heat was their final game to be made, story was subpar but the upgrade system was good. With the new day and night cycle to choose from, you need to manage and earn enough money during the day so that you can improve your rep level at night in order to buy new cars and parts.

i didnt play it for long cuz the gameplay itself just wasnt fun, coupled with the permanent night + rain setting. It was also too easy of a game, if you could grind enough money you could just instantly jump to the maxed out the skyline from your first car within in the first few hours of the game without progressing story, no progression just outright skip to endgame car

NFS needs to get back to this platform of graphics or just use the Heat platform because Unbound isnt it graphics or storyline wise. I remember when EA actually asked the community for input when making 2015 and they delivered big time as far as progress in the right direction went. They need to realize that THIS is their cash cow and stop giving us ripoff efforts like Unbound.

The thing is that most people don't even bother trying any other game in the series, anything that came before UG is considered an hallucination and every game past carbon is automatically shlt because it is. Number of copies sold is such a weak argument lmao, so many examples of terrible games out there feeding an entire company, and underrated gems under the radar, it doesn't really say anything about the game itself
