Uh... The Run was an obvious Hot Pursuit wannabe, and it fails at that. (Though this ending was actually kind of decent) And Criterion's Most Wanted was the best that has been released after Porsche Unleashed (It's nowhere close to it or High Stakes, however).

I just played this game for first time. I put this game on my backlog for many years because the metacritic score was pretty low. This game is very underrated and is actually pretty good. Can't trust the critics sometimes.... Too many people assume open world is the only way to go. With linear gameplay, you can put out better graphic stages. No way could the PS3 put out those stages in open world. You do sacrifice "side missions" that would increase game play hours though.

Some people may say that this is a really bad NFS game, but I actually think this is the best. I hear alot of people bitch about ,,omfg the driving is so bad, the AI is so scripted it doesn't have it's own mind, it's running on a shit engine,,. None of that really matters to me, I think the gameplay is really intense and this will still stay thet best NFS game for me.

This was one of the worst in my opinion. The story was so unoriginal and tried to be something it wasn't. The handling was the worst part. Two seconds off the track and you get reset. Don't even get me started on the multiplayer either. Nothing beats the early games like High Stakes and Hot Pursuit 2
