🌟 DESCRIPTION🌟
In Lakeshore City, the Player and their friend and partner Jasmine/Yaz refurbish an old junker car in their mechanic shop owned by their mentor Rydell. After winning a couple of races, Yaz has a disagreement with Rydell over a car, grows tired of being stuck in the same job daily, and wishes to do something better. She tells the player she was contacted by her friend in the foster system, Alec about some jobs involving delivering vehicles, challenging the authority of the city's police force under the control of Mayor Stevenson.

I had no idea that characters like Tess we're actual full voiced characters in the game. I thought they were just avatars when I saw the trailer. I was trying to make her when I was creating my avatar. I was pissed when I couldn't get her jacket. When I saw Tess I was surprised 😂 No wonder I couldn't get her jacket. So now my character is literally identical to Tess😂

Honestly this story was so meh. The premise of getting your stolen car back by beating The Grand was great but the execution was bad. Tess is a really annoying cringe character with her constant use of bruh/bro like stfu already, it's like the writers tried too hard to make it appeal to the young audience. The player is by far the weakest character in the game and it feels like everyone just walks over him like how he quickly accepted Yaz's awful 5 second apology where she "totally" didn't feel any sort of remorse.. like c'mon hell nah She literally ruined not only your life, but also Rydell's life for 2 years. Furthermore the fact the player accepted Yaz back so quickly.. right before THE GRANDS FINAL RACE means all the stakes go to waste, the pressure to win dissipates because Yaz is your friend now. The main point of entering The Grand was to get your ride back from Yaz. So what's the point now? No real villain in this game either, they mention "Alec" all the time but we never see him. The only good characters in this game were A$AP Rocky and Rydell, the only 2 characters who sound natural and feel like real people. Speaking of A$AP he barely had a role in this game, marketing made it seem like he was going to play a big role in the game especially with the takeover mode which turned out to be underwhelming.

NFS Unbound - pure cringe, top to bottom. Uninspired, manufactured, unnatural flat delivery of the setting, monotone characters forgettable in every way, the whole feel is just flat, boring, manufactured crap.
