I personally stick to S races with my Exige, it's fun to have that acceleration and speed combo that makes it so you're better off at the start and can stay ahead, but actual good drivers can still challenge you

@@drbumripper Meh... I would agree with you, were it not becomming common knowledge that all the lower tier cars are becomming totally obselete because of the idiot performance rating mechanic..... I've been running into a lot of supercars with crippled top speed in b class because you can fit like a 4 speed gearbox on a ferrari 488 pista..... which brings it down to B class..... but it still has insane acceleration... making every other properly build car for B class.... impossible to win with... I hate this about the MP and this needs to be patched out

Great vid thanks for the tips! What I find disappointing about the game's reward system in general is that the cop heat level doesn't give you a bonus in terms of rewards. Nor does how long a chase takes to escape, it just makes the whole police system a chore you want to avoid. If they would make the heat level a money multiplier it would motivate you to do races and challenges with a high heat level. If chases would give you more cash the longer they go on, it would also feel more rewarding to escape, rather than having to find the nearest bridge pillars to glitch them out because you can't be bothered with them anymore.

I just find the cops very toxic and annoying asf. It is a miserable chore to have to try and avoid them and it being impossible to do races without increasing your heat level only amplifies this. Particularly when you get yo heat 4 and there's no way to avoid being detected by the undercover unit (which are the worst imo) until it's to late. And there's no benefit to it either it doesn't help progression, the rewards are shit. They are just there to stall your progression as much as possible for as long as possible. It bullshit and people are already sick of it. If they don't fix it fast it's gonna drive people away from the game because it's not fun in any way shape or form it's just fucking Infuriating. I literally spend more time trying to escape the cops which is hard asf at times depending on your car, and avoiding them than I do racing which is a joke. They should be there as part of the experience not be the main focus.

You do get a bonus for escaping the Fuzz. Depends on your Heat level, but its essentially $1k for every Heat level. $1k for Heat level 1, $5k for Heat level 5.

@@richardprice4945 They are less annoying than in Heat, but in other ways more annoying. They dont wipe out on jumps, for example, but you can generally outrun them in S tier cars, then hide in some trees, under a bridge, turn off the car to speed up the escape bar. The point where I find them egregiously offensive is when in an event in Story Mode and they try to run you off the road near the end of the race forcing you to Restart or lose completely. Races are competitive enough but the AI rubberbanding seems way more erratic for racers and cops this time around. 2nd place coming out of nowhere to beat you when youve been ahead the entire race, cops spawning out of nowhere and ramming you.

I agree. Seems like a no brainer that higher heat levels would give your money rewards a multiplier, otherwise the cops are just a giant nuisance. The risk/reward and pay out amounts seem really off in this game. Which kinda sucks cause I still find it pretty addictive between the beautiful graphics and rock solid driving mechanics/sense of speed

The whole game is a concern. They Varieté of races and activities is a joke. Same for the possibility to make cash. Grinding the Chiron is a real pain. Clearly not thought through... I prefer Payback and Heat tbh.

I see you were recommending the m3, i'd also recommend getting the subaru wrx, not the hatchvack, but the hawkeye. I have it tuned for about 65% grip and it handles like a dream. It made all a amd a+ races ez mode on the hardest difficulty. Plus the feeling you get from getting a full bar of burst nitrous from doing a grip turn is awesome.

I missed the baracudda :D Mighve missed something else too. Like i was really looking through the events to find where is the car thats to earn. I would see the weekly calander saying win a car and then i go to the events - no car. Seriously. I looked up every single event, every single car meet . Then assumed maybe i'll get it by going back to the garage but that wasnt the case. Now im on week 2 and i did see my first car that i will be able to unlock through the racing events.

NFS Unbound is nothing to frown at. The game play is fun and is similar to the franchise that we all know and love. It's the same game, yet with this new graphic and edits it seems different. The game is nothing like you assume. Nor are the graphics that pop too much. It is not as distracting or often on the screen as we all thought at first. Unbound is fun, gameplay, interaction, and addictive remedy is there. It's the perfect game to play in between, Destiny 2, Division 2, Hell Divers 2... it's nostalgic.

Easy way to make money, get to the weekend event. Complete it then as it goes into the cut scene turn your game off... Turn it back on and repeat, you get the winning money and the car to sell

@@AIBETTSYIA75 You gotta really be hard up for a NFS game because this game despite have a good concept doesn’t execute on anything well. This isn’t even he best Criterion era NFS . Things that NFS has done very well with in the past aren’t good in this. Ill start with even by NFS games standards the driving is really floaty and basic feeling. The cop chases are the worst I can ever remember in any NFS. Like when you get a bunch of heat in other games you make exponentially more money based on how long you are out. Not only are the cops absolutely everywhere and somehow stay on you after you jump 70ft and turn sideways over a building but there’s not a good reward for it when you do get away from them. End of the day it looks cool but is not much fun.

They need to up the rewards for S+. Making an extra $3K, base, over a B-rank speed list is just silly. Hopefully Criterion will be adding more events and increasing rewards because this could run into the problem GT7 had out of the box. No "endgame" in events or weekly challenges, low rewards, turned it into an immediate grind. Also, I wonder what our level will be tied to because right now it doesn't seem to have any use. There's no progression locked behind it, like Rep was for Heat. Almost all cars are available as soon as you start playing, just have to have enough money to buy them. The rest are unlocked from Story mode missions, but i assume that when you beat Story mode, any cars via unlock missions you missed, will be unlocked. Events are locked by car rating/tier. So what's the point of it other than milestones that reward money?

No. The only thing that syncs from story to multiplayer is cars you unlock/win. The only things that sync from story to multi, and vice versa, is collectibles, I believe. Doing the story will help unlock cars (via delivery missions, Tess at night that are running from cops, and Rydell during the day which are "time attack" style) that you can buy in multiplayer.

Just want to let anyone know that EA Play is worth it. Not just for this game, but you can play anygame (That's older than a few months after launch) for just 12$ a year, A YEAR. EA Play Pro is more money, and allows you to play all the new games with that subscription. The normal version of EA Play usually get to play new releases 3-4 months after it's launch.

I've been trying to get the Bugatti since I got this game months ago and I can never save over a million, mainly because I love building sleeper cars and this game makes no sense when it comes to the engines, if you had different parts to put on the engines then I could see maybe how it can make a difference but if you're putting the same exact parts on a 5.0 V8 as you are a V12 and the V8 is faster that makes no freaking sense at all

I would do the leave game during the cutscene glitch for the Ford crown vic, and the r35. I did the Ford like 10 to 12 times but for the r35 I did it like 22 times, Sold 20 of them and kept 2 of them

@gabethagreatTMC this is only for the story mode just go into the final race of the week where u unlock the next car, do all the qualifiers and when the cutscene starts, exit of the game entirely. Go back in and ull find the reward money in ur wallet and the car in ur garage. You can do this for any of the 4 weeks

ezpz... 180SX Elite Drift Tires and once you start drifting just weave left and right rather quickly, drift zones are based on yards not on actual points so as long as you can see the smoke effects you should be fine... and my 180SX was a B Tier build, lots of torque though
