You need to progress a lot. Check Gamespot's links which lead to the game's hidden races locations.

I've been trying to look for hidden races cuz i have finnish all those circles but i haven't yet got to stage 3. i'm still at stage 2 but there are no more race i can find. can you help me guys pls :)

OK I think view figured out whats wrong.. you have to have a certain amount of stars to progress in the story... I had to almost find out the hard way when my Tiburon wasn't at minimal star level and I was running out of races which were only the hidden ones I could do.. so suggest upgrading the looks of the car first then spending it on performance so you can get mor events available to you...

I hope this helps you by any chance cut I thinks that's what was wrong.. I was at level 2 stars but I needed to have level 3 to get farther.. I know because once I passed 3, I unlocked some magazine covers and more races..
