Yeah. It looks great on first view. But seriously, i hate that it's wet all the time. Feels sometimes kinda rushed. As i modded gta sa back then with a enb, i put my own options in it, to have more of a realistic reflections. Not like just let all reflect. And alot les extreme. Colors also less saturated then the original enb settings. Those of often to much. X.x

The reflections are imo, really over done. The dirt and sand now look like wet clay and it looks much uglier actually. It's way too reflective. The contrast and coloration is much better but the reflections are way too much. It no longer feels like a desert but like a 5th graders art project. It really doesn't work at all for a game set in the desert. Maybe if someone could add in a rainy skybox and some rain pouring down, it would work much better. But as it is, it doesn't work at all for me.

@@adedhuman9582 It isn't the modders fault, it's a ReShade limitation. You can't tell ReShade to apply reflections to specific objects, so it just applies it to everything.

Hmm, i think this actually might be FAR better to be used on NFS 2015, due to how light there reacts with dark envieroment it would look very good. City areas at least, think the outskirt stuff and docks might suffer.

I’m not a kid for graphics, but adding an over-the-top colour palette and reflections everywhere, to the point where it breaks UI elements is a really bad way of improving a game graphically. I think a better way of improving Payback’s looks would be... - higher resolution textures - an actual weather system to have natural looking puddles on roads if it actually rains in a city placed near a desert - higher polygon character models - more subtle auto-exposure - a better way of handling the lighting at night And for Heat... - a complete reimplantation of TAA and post processing - the removal of film grain - MUCH higher resolution textures (not everywhere) - a reimplementation of HDAO or whatever the heck Full AO is because it practically doesn’t work, but it still lowers the FPS - a different depth of field method because it’s also broken on ultra - working shadows at night (Unite 3.0 has it) - a complete replacement of vegetation sprites because all of them look garbage up close and there are places where they’re literally made of no more than 50 pixels - better filtering for screen space reflections - better looking water surface (kind of part of textures) - a correct PBR format for road reflections

@@ABxGamerz I’d said that Payback looks better in certain scenarios which is true. Both have really low points graphically, but overall, Heat’s effects are implemented a bit more poorly compared to Payback’s. Aesthetically, Heat looks better, that’s for sure, especially when viewed from a mobile device, BUT when you start looking for mistakes (and some of them are very noticeable and disgusting), it really starts to fall apart in contrast to Payback. Though, I have to admit, Payback looks way off at night, and going out from tunnels at noon.

Reshade raytracing is basically just better ambient occlusion and basic ssr. Its a good reshade option but don't judge the value of raytracing from stuff like this. Its nothing like a proper implementation, just wait for the next nfs to see what true raytracing can do

Payback was an underrated game. Voice acting was excellent, variety of different types of events and every single event had dialogue that contributed to the story in some way. It just had a shitty performance upgrade system.

I use that reshade on NFSMW 2012 and Blur cuz I don't have a better pc. Tip : SSR(reflection) ruins your game UI, it's better to not turn it on.
