I’ve mained a holy pally for a few years now and this video is spot on. Very informative. If you’re thinking of playing holy pally it’s the most fun class I’ve every played. Only thing I have to add is that if you proc after holy shock I would use holy light instead of flash of light

good vid, got one thing wrong tho. That being that the heal of Flash of Light in increased and not the cast time. The cast time of Holy Light is decreased tho which does change a bit in the rotation part of your vid. Most people value the throughput and mana efficiency that a swift Holy Light (faster then Flash of Light) which lets you get back to the bread and butter Crusader Strike, Holy Shock quicker and fish for another proc. Flash of Light is more often used as a OH SHIZZ spam heal when you are caught out of position to reduce CDs w/ Cru Strike until Flash of Light is back where youll reposition with your pony probably doing a dope feeling judgment into AOE if FoL gave you the time to pop both while repositioning (judge when within range AoE when at tank if given time) EDIT: Great Addon tips(a topic that should be explained more to newer players)

Picked up WoW a month ago and decided to pick up Holy Pally as my first "real" class after trying a few ranged dps and struggling. This helped so much! Excited to get into raids and dungeons after I level up! Thanks man.

We usually tend to have a "natural playstyle" that makes fighting easier. To some it's ranged classes, to others it's melee classes :) I don't know how much you know about WoW, but I'll give you a small piece of advice anyways that I wish I knew when picking up the game. The leveling experience from 1 to 120 is the tutorial. The ONLY thing you get from 1 to 120 is a bit of story, and learning your class. The ACTUAL content doesn't start til you hit 120, and THIS is where you start having fun. :)

Dani Krossing I did some testing around with various dps until about level 30 and continuously would die doing simple 1v1s! That could also be me, but I thought I would try healing and tanking for a change (as I’ve only really played dps in other games)! Thank you for the advice!:) I’m really excited to get into the real game once I’m done levelling. Hoping I’m going to enjoy the ride, try and learn some new skills, and get used to the game! So glad I found this vid. Spent many years as Resto Druid , skipped the last two expansions and came back deciding to make my prot pally a healer since i'm too far behind to tank. Been struggling with it and the druid was fluttering her lashes at me but this explains a lot. I’d love to see a judgment empowered with holy shock to create a DoT for Holy Pala exclusively! Reapply Holy Shock up to 2 times to increase DoTs dmg. Then use Judgment to consume the stacks as a “ Final Judgment “ which will also reapply the initial basic judgment effect on the target.

I always take blinding light mythic+. Aoe interupt is nice. Rule of law will stretch ur mastery range, increasing ur healing out put

Beacon of Virtue should u only play with if there is some bad affixes that needs alot of aoe healing, like bursting, or if u do not have 3x glimmer traits. When u get 3x glimmer traits u should allways ( exept on bad aoe healing affixes ) play Divine purpose :)

Based on this, I decided to have a crack at healing. Just my luck that it was a trial by fire... had a Russian-speaking tank that pulled huge packs. There were casualties, though I barely managed to keep the tank alive. By the end of the dungeon I was starting to get the hang of it, but damn, it was stressful. I'm not daunted, though. I already tank and DPS -- I'm determined to add heals to my portfolio as well. 'Martyr' is pronounced 'MAHR-ter', or /ˈmɑr tər/ with IPA symbols, by the way. Your English is fantastic! I can't place the accent.

For pvp. you want Crit Vers as your highest stat prio. For PVE you want Glimmer of light traits with as much haste as you can possibly get. My paladin has three sets of gear at 470, 41% haste, 38% Crit/24% vers, and a Crit mast set. Either way you go doesnt matter in the end just because the paladin is very forgiving as far as heals. You want at least 20% crit on all builds, and at least 30% Haste for the glimmer build. For pvp you want at least 32% Crit and 20% Vers.

Hey mate, this guide is somehow ok for a beginner, But very, very basic. It does not cover the most important part of a HolyPally playstyle which is the "glimmer". So you 100% go with "Divine Purpose" in every Content (M+ or Raid). Regarding stats: I go crit, haste for M+ (DMG) and mastery, haste for raid (Healing). Maybe you can add some stuff. Apart from that great vid man!

The thing with damaging healer is the targeting. You can't just press heal. You just cahnege target. So you really need addons or macros

I was looking for help on paladins as I just started WoW, first time noob and found this channel. Im happy I did! this was fantastic! Great Video, I play Ret Pally Main, I have always struggled healing as a pally when it comes to multiple targets in a mythic dungeon taking But on a druid I find it much better and less chaotic, I really with they had some type of rejuv spell, but I will say when holy shock is up it is a Nice and glimmer of light does help, also i never tried that beacon talent before maybe that's all i need for multiple targets , thx again

Thank you. I'm a little confused having watched probably too many vid on how to play the holy paladin a lot of the "best" talents differ between videos. I'm a total noob to WoW and most of my party quit the first(and last) time I was the healer in the dungeon run. A few suggest the lvl 30 talent should be to extent the range of your heels to increase the distance you need to be to get the bonus for being close to the target. What do you think?
