Vola creates a Cathedral of sound, all of the instruments working together to create a massive sound that's full of intricacy, beauty, and power, all kept in balance.

It makes my day to see VOLA starting to take over your channel 🙌 I hope Inmazes makes it's way on here as well, that album is also perfect and I have a feeling you'll have a special place for Owls and the title track :) but don't miss out on their EP's as well!! The songs on Monsters are as good as any of these as well 🙏

Welcome to the VOLA family. We are very happy to have you my friend! David Maxim Micic is an artist that in my mind has a similar quality to VOLA. Who Bit The Moon (title track from an album) or The Flock are amazing.

I'm a total VOLA fanboy, and I understand completely your point about Witness's second half. When listening to the full album on release day, I was well acquainted with the four singles -- which lead off the record. The final five tunes felt different, and not because I already knew the others. After marinating in the music for a while, though, I think Napalm and Future Bird are now my favorites, especially after seeing them live. In both, the lyrical connection to the notes and rhythms is sublime. And come on...a fadeout is all that can really follow, "The ravens are out tonight, playful and wild. A mother has lost a light surrounding a child."

@@markdorval7844 I really like the last half now after a bunch more listens, but I still think the first half is stronger and Applause is a better album overall

Future Bird is incredible. I got to see them in Cambridge Mass a couple of years ago for their first ever U.S. show and was so stoked they included it in their set. I went in blind but hoping they would play it and I wasn't disappointed. Such a great night and unfortunately the only time I've seen them.

the weird thing about this album is that the first half are HITTERS, and the last half are GROWERS. my fav is definitely Inside Your Fur after sitting with this album since it came out.

I'm starting to feel that this past week. The last half took some time but it's growing on me a lot

Inside Your Fur is the one. They ended their set with it on their latest tour and it was fucking amazing.

Dude... VOLA is love and life. In fact, enough to tell me that I need to experience Denmark. That's where all of my favorite music is coming from.

So glad i discovered vola through your video. Also mentioning the Hades track reminded me of a track called Bury The Light from Devil May Cry 5. If you havent heard it i highly recommend doing so, probably can make a 20 minute video on the song itself how packed it is.

I love that song! Fun fact, back when I tried making this into a gaming channel for a bit back in 2017, dmc5 was the first game I streamed on twitch

I know you’re not a huge fan of erra, but the lead singer has a solo project called “Ghost Atlas.” Anyways, to my completely uneducated drummer ears, the melodies in their most recent album are definitely a lot different than the norm. The album is pretty radio rock but with super nice melodies. Anyways, the album is called “Dust of the Human Shape.” The lead singer considered it his masterpiece work.

Nice I'll have to check it out! I'll listen to more ERRA eventually too. I don't like to judge a band off of not liking one album
