Loved doing this. My first needle felt was your mouse, then the sleepy bunny but the teddy came more easily and I’m very happy with the result. Thank you so much for your tutorials. Pat Norton

I've never needle felted before but I really need to pick up a hobby since suddenly becoming a widow this year. Maybe it will take my mind off of just how heartbroken I am. I placed an order today for the fiber from Annie, Ellie and Shayenna. (I think those were the names of your sweet babies). I am watching tutorials for what I can make from it when it comes. Does Alpaca fiber needle felt as well as wool?
@WisteriaSuriRanch2 жыл бұрын
Hello Grandma Sez So, I am soooo sorry to hear about your loss and heartbreak. I send you so much love and healing. Thank you sooo much or supporting my farm with your purchase- I hope you will find the fibers healing, too. Alpacas are very loving animals, so I hope their fiber will give you great joy to work with. Alpaca fleece is beautiful for the outside part of your felting creations- but I prefer using core wool which is included in my kits to create the basic shapes. So you would create the shapes with core sheep's wool which is shorter and crimpier, and then you can add alpaca fiber on the surface to make it extra luxurious and special! I have a free online felting course you are welcome to enjoy! It'll cover this info a bit more :) It's available for anyone who wants to learn in a fun way :) Thank you for watching and writing- and supporting my Etsy shop! I appreciate you! wisteriasuriranch.thinkific.com/courses/needle-felting-intro

I have so much trouble making legs one's always either fatter or thinner than the other or long or shorter😔
@WisteriaSuriRanch2 жыл бұрын
Hi Samantha! That's one of the hardest things for sure!!! I still have to adjust mine or make extras until I get matching sets and I've been doing it a long long time. A few things that help- measuring similar amounts of wool so the wool amount you start with is about the same :) I just poke in the ends to make it shorter or wrap another layer if too small. I just keep trying until I get it as close to matching as possible- it does take time and practice, even for me. Big big hugs and lots of support on your felting adventure!

@@samanthahern4294 Just enjoy the process and don't be so hard on yourself :) I look back at my very first project and have to giggle...I've really come a long long ways! But I do have my foam and needle in a few places!!! And wool everywhere....hehehehehe. Big hugs and a super happy Monday!
