Sophie uses water soluble paper to make a thin, realistic needle felted leaf. You can apply this technique to create a whole range of leaves, petals, flowers, butterfly wings...and that's just to name a few ideas!
You can craft along if you like. You will need as a minimum of supplies:
Coloured wool batts in Dragon NZ Merino, orange, yellow & green (5-8g of wool in total to make 1-2 leaves)
water soluble paper (15 x 15cm piece per leaf)
coarse or medium felting needle
felting mat
small bowl of warm water and shallow bowl or cup
kitchen paper or towel
scissors
Optional: brush mat and 7 needle felting tool
