Hi Keiko; so nice to finally see you again! I wanted to ask you a question. Can you dye super dark alpaca (browns) to be lighter and brighter colors? Intuitively, I am guessing not but thought that you would know for sure.

Hi!!! So happy to see you, too. I have dyed dark fibers- you can get interesting tinst on it but usually not lighter. I have never tried to bleach it so not sure how that would work...another option is to mix it with lighter colored fibers. Think rose gray- they mix brown and white to have that pretty rosy lighter brownish color. I have multis who blend into really pretty colors! Sending you big big hugs!!!
