Needle Felted Molang Tutorial | Super Cute Craft

Molang is one of my favourite characters! In this tutorial, I will demonstrate how to needle felt an adorable Molang. I chose to work with polyester stuffing to save up wool, it's a less expensive substitute. When looking for polyester stuffing for felting, you should look for a rough texture, unlike cotton. Sometimes you can also find batting, or insulation materials to felt. Remember to felt it tight and dense, or else Molang will not look cute! This took me 3-4 hours of felting, and 5 hours to film XD Happy felting!!

I can't remember if i ever came back to thank you for this tutorial. So cute! Thank you for this tip of using polyfiber as the base/filling. I tried that for some of my recent projects and it really helped save me wool and made my projects fuller and less flimsy. Molang is also so adorable!

Inner wool is actually a rougher wool roving. Wool roving is slightly rougher, compared to soft Japenese wool. But Pufftique used polyester filling.
