I discovered your video tutorials on needle felting a doll, and have been watching them and needle felting a doll along with the videos for five days now. I have to say that I love that you rarely say ‘um’ or ‘uh’ or other thought stall word inserts. Your articulation is much appreciated. I also LOVE that you continually thank everyone for watching your videos, for ‘being there with you’ when the videos were made live, and your thanks and appreciation of your viewers is tangible and genuine. You are a very comforting instructor, humble about your incredible talents, and so encouraging! Thank you. Thank you for being the generous person you come across as being in your videos.

Still binge watching ALL weeks of the projects.... might have to try wet felting eventually. I feel qualified to participate in the felting process conversations with my sister now and I will be buying a small doll kit to practice with. I do the polymer clay stuff and fabric dolls, papier-mâché, etc. but this will be a really fun addition to my soft sculpted doll making. Thanks so much!

Thank you so so much once again, I am still tracking along with my doll and it is coming together nicely. I will probably needle felt clothing this time as I don't have any tools for wet felting but you have inspired me to give it a go in the future. Thanks once again 💕💖💕

I'm curious why I don't see realistic needle felted people. Are they really tough to make? This video was super helpful! Thank you very much! Lisa

My dolls are like 6 inches tall can wet felting still be used to make the clothes or in your opinion are they too small for wet felting? Love your videos

Do you think the nuno-felting method is necessary for making tunic-type clothing that can be glued to a finished papier mache' armature/body? Could I achieve this without the silk layer underneath? I will be gluing/permanently attaching the tunic to the papier mache' armature.

Hi, where do you get silk hankies that look all thin and wispy like that? I searched for silk hankies on Amazon but all that came up with are those silk squares men put in their suit pockets and they didn't look like that at all....
@LivingFelt6 жыл бұрын
Hi Heather, we carry them :) You can find them right here: feltingsupplies.livingfelt.com/Silk-Hankies_c_125.html

What about glycerin soap ? Is that any good?
@LivingFelt6 жыл бұрын
Test any soap. Glycerin soap tends to melt quickly...we suggest a hard milled, olive oil or vegetable based soap.

Do the scarves from the thrift store have to be real silk ?
@LivingFelt5 жыл бұрын
Hi Linda ..if you buy non silk...make a test. The weave should be open enough to permit the fibers to migrate, but still make a test sample to see how it works out.

Whats a boo boo on your thumb ?
@LivingFelt6 жыл бұрын
Marie's thumb was injured.... "boo boo" is a word generally used for a very minor injury...and usually used with children :)
