Yay! I have been wanting to do Sandpipers, they are my favorite thing about being on the beach. I can watch them running up and down the beach all day. I even have a piece of driftwood I have been saving just for sandpipers. I found the perfect piece at the beach years ago.

At first I was disappointed that this wasn’t a 2 D project. But now I’m so excited to try this 3-D bird. I was raised on an island so the pipers The Sandpipers the Ploving Pipers are all like family to me. This kit will be fun to do and I think I can translate it into a 2 D piece too ❤️ thanks!

OOPS! Still firming up my "underbird" (and here you thought YOU were a slow felter, Marie!) Still lovin' the project, even though I've yet to find something I want to mount him on. My fave takeaway was the hand blending and subtle dimension you added to the wings with the course needle following your pattern. Looks great and I always crack up when you call your project "essence of..." 😅😘
