It depends on the incarnation of the Lazarus Pit. For example, in Timm's animated universe it could only restore youth and extend lifespans (and even then it had its limits), not actually resurrect anyone.

@@damianprock1650 The Arkham series is inspired by TAS and use a lot of the voice actors but they are not the same timeline. Jason Todd doesn't exist in the animated serie. Only Dick Grayson who becomes Nightwing and Tim Drake. Barbara is also Batgirl when Joker dies and never gets shot by him and become Oracle but that happens in Arkham. But the biggest different that is totally obvious that it's 2 different universe... Alfred is not as bald in Arkham Knight as he is in TAS.

@@damianprock1650 The Arkham games takes from a lot of Batman universes. The way Joker is created is taken from Under the Red Hood. The way Barbara is crippled is from The killing Joke. The biggest inspiration is probably TAS but it's not exclusively that. The way Joker dies is different. Batman never gets exposed as Bruce Wayne in TAS and goes on to mentor Terry McGinnis. There is enough huge keypoint in the story to make it it's own universe.

I actually prefer the "censored" electrocution of the Joker to him just being shot in a very telegraphed way.It's serious and brutal, more of an accident, more reasonable for Tim to only partway fight off the brainwashing, and it rhymes for both the torture of Tim and the final death with the electrocution of the chip.

Okay (cracks knuckles) here we go. Telltale Batman. He's not dead, not in a technical sense...not yet. Bruce/Batman says at this point, and I quote "It's erratic." Meaning his heart is still beating *and* it has a shockable rhythm. (Also hence why he shocks him). Although it is portrayed often in media, you would not normally shock a flatline. Here I feel Telltale did some research. If the heart is erratically pumping blood, oxygen is not being properly distributed leading to brain death. The Joker is *not* dead but *is* in danger of dying. Whew sorry for the long post.
