To add to the info hear. Elephant hill requires a medium lift and at least 33s imo. Lavender canyon now has a combo lock on the gate so in addition to needing a permit you will need to contact the park rangers for the code.

The combo is now included on the permit for Salt Creek/Horse Canyon and Lavender Canyon.
