Kate Boat Art being interpreted through the religion of the artist should never go away . . . religion/philosophy/ideology is the motive for a vast majority of historic art. It enriches the understanding and message of the art, regardless of whether you agree with that ideology. The important thing is that the art is done with excellence, and that the artist makes his/her point. p.s. I just saw these guys and the Oh Hello's in concert two days ago in Philly. They're outstanding live.

No, no, I completely agree - religion and theology are absolutely fascinating and wonderful defining features of art! What I mean, really, is that I think the Christian aspect of this music shouldn't keep anyone from listening to it, as it shouldn't be what identifies the song itself. The definition of the song should be how good it sounds/how one relates to it!

I like the blossoming of the flowers and the plants. Fantastic. Life springing from a wasteland. Remind me of Father God asking Ezekiel: "can these dry bones come back to life?" Yes we are broken but God knows our sorrows and worries. Jesus was a man acquainted with grief. He took our infirmities and our sicknesses. Heh heals the broken hearted. Those who found Him were those who never looked for Him, that is the weak and the downcasted. Give Jesus Christ glory.

I shared this song/video on my facebook page way back when this video was newly published and only had a few views...now I see it has over 1.2 million almost 3 years after I first shared it! At the time I shared it, I was going through such a rough time in my life...and this song really helped me through. I knew they were a great band from the moment I seen them featured on TV around the time their album Rivers in the Wasteland was going to be released...and that this was a great song from the moment that I discovered it after looking them up on youtube that day.

Can't stop listening to this song! I just love to harmonize with it. It's so perfect!
